A lot of monolid eyes tend to have saggy skin toward the outer eye ends, making it hard to draw eyeliner wings. the skin will either hide it of completely displace it (which sadly makes most eye enlarging make up impossible). So the second tip is so helpful ❤
Use liquid eyeliner and blend it with eyeshadow. I have hooded eyes and my eyelid is saggy too. It works really well. In me, every stick o creamy eyeliner look weird😂
My friend asked me to help her with her eye make up tomorrow for a function at her college and she has saggy mono eyes issue, I've done her eyeliner a few times but it's always a struggle because I'm not used to her eye shade so yea this definitely a need
So excited for this video! your like the older sister Ive never had Ive always been strugling with makeup because I didnt know which suited my face thanks so much for these! 💗
mia’s technique is insane o my god i have so many eyeshadow pallets but have never used them like at all bc of my monolids but i’ll make sure to try this method out. and the voice over is so reassuring too i rly love this video and channel
Oh! I think I can try out the inverted eyeshadow technique! I don't have a lot of lid space to work, and lighter colours on my eyelids tend to make my eyes look puffier than they already are, so I'll try to do the inverted eyeshadow technique when I have the chance! I think it would also help in making the mid-portion of my face shorter!
love this channel cause it intoduced me to the asian makeup world. even though I'm not asian and I don't have monolids, I've been using these techniques for my hooded eyes and they work perfectly!
they are so professional. the first guru's brown eyeliner is of a high quality: tiny edge with a lot color trade off. i wish i could have one like that too. btw i think even without makeup themonolids are pretty, like they are already with make up if this makes any sense
This is so helpful, I've always felt like my cheek area is empty even if I felt like I did a pretty good job at my eye makeup, I'll definitely practice this technique
dear peachie, could you please please make a video of effective skincare or something skincare related??? i've been binge watching your videos and i found them all so amazingly good and helpful! thanks so much for these💖
FINALLYYYYYY thank you for this🙌 I’m new to make up & I could never figure out why I look so awkward w/ normal eye shadow on my upper lids😭 this was very helpful!
Thank you so much for this 💗 💖 I was having such a low time with my monolids and was considering that I need double eyelids. I always had this problem about having puffy eyelids of eyeshadow on top. Will definitely try out the inverted style!!!!
@@annasin90 I did it! And to me it looks super natural and nice. I am now going to buy some white or peach gel pencil to do my waterline!! Also was super pretty made my eyes look larger 😍
@@reesespp3965 me too! Always a struggle, I have gotten to a point where I am happy with them, but sometimes makeup just doesn't sit right 😕 and then I go back to hating them. But now I am happy again with this new tip!

THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO, hate my eyes cuz one has monolid and one is double eyelid, so applying eye make up is so hard for me, they always look different:((
i watched both this and the eyeshape video, and just wanted to say that while I couldn't achieve a proper double eyelid with the stickers that I bought from Amazon, just using the false lashes from "doe" gave me a double eyelid because of the thicker band that sits close to my lash line! if you answered b to most, if not all, of the questions in the eyeshape quiz from the other video from "dear peachie" (like myself!), I suggest giving those lashes a shot (or any false lash that has a thicker band)!
Omg this helps a lot thank you Peachy. In monolids and this helps me a lot. I'm be trying both techniques.💓💓 have you heard of picking ones personal colors? I've seen some Korean gurus picking there own personal colors. I was wonder it you could make a short video about it. Love your videos. They always help me improve on my makeup ❤️❤️
I have monolid eyes but there's something odd about it...when i use eyeliner(i use eyeliner gel because it's hard for me to wear the liquid pen one), i can definitely see the eyeliner line at the center of my eyes... don't say i have double eyelids, i didn't have that fr, i was confused at my own eyes shape😢 and the corner of my eyes just really Unsettling, I can't even make the eyeline corner to make sharp eyes look...
Thank you so much for this video, growing up ive always loved makeup but feel sad and put off because no makeup artists or tutorials ever cater to monolids so i just look goofy in the end which caused me to give up on makeup altogether. Until i stumbled across videos like this where i finally have the urge to start using makeup again!! Thank u sm
I love your videos! They're so great for asians like myself. I actually learn something new from their techniques, and they're not techniques that every single beauty guru is doing.
They didn't have much resources or techniques for monolid makeup back when I was a teen in the early 2000's. It was a lot of trial & error, & frustration. I feel like you have to think outside the box & figure out what's flattering for your eye shape. I've used some of these techniques, but wished there were videos like this when I was a kid! I often go for a bold/unnatural look, so not afraid to put bright/bold colors on my upper lids; I think it's just about figuring out what works for you!
I've been looking for a tutorial like this!! It's hard to find tips for my monolid shape and this was super informative and easy to understand! Thank you so muchh
Wooow!!! The second girl looks so much like Rosê from Blackpink!!! And thank you for sharing these videos. I never know how to do make up on my monolids and I don't want to get surgery.
i actually cried while watching this 😭 i have monolid eyes and my eyes are quite small and since i was young, ppl made me feel extremely insecure abt them, calling out my small eyes, my friends "jokingly" saying to me that if i want to glow up, i should first fix my monolids... those made me extremely insecure but nowadays, I've started to love my monolids more literally bcs of yeji, dahyun and hyunjin. now i want to discover more into the makeup world and learn how to apply makeup. thank you so much for this video 🤍
OMGGG I WAS THINKING ABOUT THIS KIND OF VIDEOOOO. Today i searched all of them and i came to your channel for old videos but i found this new oneeee thanksss💖💖💖💖💖💖
I have hooded eyelids but since it's lower it practically look like it's barely there. First time trying the first look but for some reason it made my eyes look smaller. My eyeshadow was a brown shade but I have a darker skin tone.
i’ve realised the reason y i cant recreate these looks is cos of contacts, can you please upload more makeup videos that don’t require wearing contacts😖
Thank you for this! I'm just starting with makeup, in fact I just got my eyeshadow palette today. With more practice I wish to achieve this techniques.
every time i search for makeup looks to enhance or cater to monolids, the videos are just showing how to give you the double eyelid effect- or even make your eyes bigger. thank youu
I am from Greece and to all girls with monolid eyes YOU ARE SEXY don't get any plastic surgery done please you have no idea how beautiful your eyes are the way they are !!!! Also I have small eyes and all these videos are super helpful for me thank you!
