Even though we're in 2021 the moonwalk is still one of the greatest dance moves of all time! Michael Jackson is a true legend!
In this dance tutorial I will be teaching you how to moonwalk step by step so that even beginners can learn this awesome dance move! 😉

My ONE goal during quarantine was to be able to do the moonwalk really masterfully. From March to October of 2020, i watched the first 1/3 of 5 different videos. I can now sort of vaguely describe how it works with confidence. Thanks RU-vid!!

Wow... In NO other moonwalk tutorial, ever, have I seen the dance broken down to such a basic level, and then gradually built up, over time. None. Many years ago, shortly after Michael Jackson died, I was able to learn the moonwalk rather quickly, and managed to pull it off a few times. Now that time has gone on, and I've gained a lot of weight (which I am trying to reverse), I just can't pull it off...for now. But, I'm trying to strengthen my body again, including my ankles (which have taken a bit of a beating over time), and boost my confidence once again, so hopefully I'll be able to moonwalk again at some point. Thank you!

Just one thing - at the start, I’d recommend teaching the footwork drill repetition before including the leaning to each side. It complicates things a bit too much to put the lean in that early on for me at least
