Boatloads of talent is one thing but being able to explain what you do is something else. Your content is simply super and your driving is friggin awesome.

Great tips! Why have all the coaches I engaged the last 2 years on several tracks slowed me down in contrast to the laps I did on my own pace? I spent al lot of money experiencing no gain nor confidence. Now my approach is to do my homework before going on the track in mathematical, physical and trackside matters, check it over out there and reviewing the issues: How much delay of time/distance do I experience on brake/throttle - transitions? Do I (especially in thefirst phases of the corner) use all percentage of the traction circle? How far can I expand my vision without loss of safety/confidence? Best feeling comes when I´m literally towed into the pace.

As always great video David, this gives a true insight into the difference between a racing driver and I have a go hero. Remember I was at dancing one year doing a classic endurance race with a lightweight E-type and the owner was fast but he wouldn’t listen to the engineers and he kept holding on the brake. Needless to say halfway through the race we had to try and do a brake pad change on brakes that were Vesuvius hot. But this video really goes to show how over a weekend the car and the driver build confidence in the car therefore improving the speed of the car overall. Between the laps how much changes were you doing to the car?

Brilliant stuff David! You have a fantastic reputation for being able to get into any car and o fast immediately. This is a brilliant insight into how you do that, as well as how to learn a new circuit in a car you already know. DP Magic!!

Mate, there is even scientific backing in your method! (: most school kids do about 45 minutes of learning followed by brake time for this reason, as it is within the sort of time you can focus befor your learning dropps off

Very in depth, very informative. I've been looking for ways to maximize info I get from iRacing's free VRS system. Telemetry is pretty daunting to analyze as a rookie, this is a good start! Thanks David!

Woho, as usual great work, and it really helps, also in sim Racing. Thank you, and keep up the great work. Do you give lessons in sim racing?

A quick question ~ How can you brake as hard as you can while being smooth with your input? Do you mean brake in a linear fashion?
