Thanks so much for the wisdom, you have expired me with your amazing hand work, you are not just good you are amazing, you are much appreciated dear....
God bless you so much for taking tile to answer our questions. 🙏. Much appreciated. May anything you lost in teaching us be replaced in a thousand folds
Thank you ma'am for this tutorial. Is there another name for the pad? I checked with stores that sell materials for fascinators but they seem not to know what it is. Is it the same as felt?
You are most welcome. It is called warden or interfacing. It’s the thickest softest one. you would find it in tailoring stores ( where they sell materials for tailors/seamstress). It is actually close to felt but more foamy
When you say youse pad ,to get it what am I looking for, what did you put down first was that the maternal you as the front, thanks you, you are amazing l Margaret Redmond. From Ireland
Thanks Margaret, happy to have you here. Yes the first material placed on the mould/hat block is your bridal satin, taffeta or any material At all but you place in with the front part on the hat block because that’s what you would see underneath. Then you please the pad or warden on top of that
Thanks so much ma for this video, I really learn a lots from you ma. Please ma, what is the name of the fabric you used before worden to make the mould. Also ma, please how does stiffner looks like, is it like UHU gum , B7000, glu gum and the rest.
You are most welcome dear. I used Tafetta then but best to use bridal satin or dull face or you could use same material you are using on the top. It’s not same as uhu gum dear, it’s a stiffener in the likes of Top bond
They are both used for moulding dear just that I find top bond more economical to use for pad and stiffner better for great finishing for sinamay and any other I won’t be covering with material. So you can make use of whatever you have available and when you find more options, try them all out to see which works best for you
Very beautiful 👌🏼👍🏼 pls what kind of pad did u use? Is it d one they use for padding clothes? And can stiffiner be used, instead of the bonding clue u used

Please ma i can not get top bond in Amazon and I did no see a good stiffener i don't now if you have the link so you send for me thank you ma God bless you
No bird cage was used here dear. But to learn that please join us in D’vent Craft Academy and request for Fascinator class 2 via this link t.me/+G_eXElglEy5kZTg0
Wow! So innovative! Can't the final fabric be moulded the same time with the pad? Can top bond be used with paper mat or sinamey? Thanks so much! I'm a subbie and have learnt alot from your channel.
Thanks for your compliment and your subscription. I used to mould the fabric with the pad initially but noticed it changes the shade of the material so I stopped and started using the method you watched. Top bond can be used but sometimes it doesn’t come out well, so I stopped and use only stiffener for all other types of material. Am happy you have learnt a lot from my channel
