Can’t believe I didn’t think of this! Thank you! I installed the bar to the windscreen mounts but immediately removed it because it bounced around so much I couldn’t see the map when off-road.
Wish I bought this one years ago. Mounted mine to the 2022 310gs handle bar. Priceless for the type of riding I do. I purchased a renewed model from Amazon. 90 days to test it out and full warranty.

...is the round left to right bar a commercial piece or did you fashion that yourself out of round stock. If a commercial produced piece....do you recall where from...???
There are 2 accessory plugs located behind the headlight on the right hand side. You will have to purchase the adapter plugs for them. I got them on eBay for $10. You will have to remove the headlight to get to them. It will allow the GPS to only turn on when the key is on and it will automatically turn it off when the motorcycle is off, so you don't drain your battery.
Hi there is 2 accessory outlets behind the headlight. I hooked it up to one of those so it turns on with key. you have to remove the headlight to get to it, it’s kind of time consuming. I did not remove everything to get to it, just removed the 4 bolts holding the headlight. just have to be careful wiggling it out. you will also need the connector for the accessory. I found it on eBay for $10. there are videos on all of it on RU-vid that I watched.
@@Sasqmoto Thanks for the reply. I'm on the right track then. I already bought the same mount as you and the parts to make the vibration dampener bars. Was about to buy the accessory plug put wasn't 100% on that. You put good information out there for us 310 owners.
