Just a quick video showing how to mount and unmount a Boss snow plow to a truck. This particular plow is a 7.5' Boss Power-V XT on a 2001 Chevy Silverado 2500.
🤦♂️I do not know how many people I’ve told when disconnecting all u need to do is hold up on the plow connect and Disconnect and you hear clicks let go of it it will lower by it’s self
That's for sure!! My 2018 F350 is a bitch to attach if there's so much as 1/2" of height difference from the front wheels to the plow resting position. A few times this winter the plow was removed on snow and ice and then I had to attach at 3am by myself and had to manhandle the fuck outta the plow... I'm a big guy so it wasn't too big an issue for me but if you were a small guy there's no way in hell you'd do it without a jack and some help. These things need to be level when you're dealing with a 9'2" blade. I have my blade perfectly adjusted in regards to mount height, bump stop adjustment and trip spring adjustment and there's zero play. Oddly enough my friends 15 year old 9'2" blade is sloppy as shit and well worn and is easy as all get out to install because there's so much slop.... Just a kick and a jiggle of his and Bizam! She's on.... Mine? Nope. You gotta be surgeon precise before mine will slide in and lock up. Haha.
