To recycle the bottles it shows a tag, when you buy the bottle/can then you pay an extra amount for to get you to recycle it... so for regular bottles/can it is now 2 nok pr bottle, this you get back when you recycle it. For bigger bottles like 1.5 ltr soda you get 3 nok back. It is a incentive to get you to recycle it, its not a tax ... In Norway we recycle about 96% of all the bottles/can bought at stores ... due to this, however if you find bottles in nature or in trashbins (and yes you will because some are just idiots) you still get that 2 nok or 3 nok for a bottle ... even if you have not bought it but found it... as the price follows the bottle. And you can recycle these bottles anywhere, not just where you bought these.

Also forgot, we pay a VAT at 25 % for items you buy, and 12 or 14% vat on food ... this is a tax from the government, its already added to the price, when shopping food people use to see how much you pay pr. kilo (the store have to show how much a food item cost pr. kilo so you can see what is cheapest if you like or expensive if thats your thing 🙂 But the price you see on the tag is with the sales tax included.

50000 monthly salary ke samne 5000 rent which is 10% of your income. Bhai this is cheaper than India. We pay 6k rent sharing for against 30k salary in Ahmedabad like cities. You can Imagine rest of the Indian cities.

I suggest all those who are aspiring to move to Norway to do a proper research about that country. The current situation is very bad and there are serious tensions and threats with Russia which borders the country in the North. The law of the land says that even non-citizens living in the land can be conscripted for military service in times of conflict so dont get caught unknowingly in that mouse trap.

The chances of Norway going to war is similar to doomsday scenario. Norway is a part of NATO and that article 5 obligation means that chances of Norway ever getting into a direct confront with any country are nil cause if it did it would entail the wrath of all NATO countries.

To live in any of the norwegian Cities is expensive, prices of house or apartments are very high and its like that in pretty much all norwegian cities of some size. If you can live some outside the cities you usually do get cheaper houses or appartments but ofcourse there will be less other things like fewer stores and things like that. Also price of food can be abit more expensive outside of cities while things like utility bills and electricity can be abit cheaper than in cities. And for us who live up in the north there is a zone called "Tiltakssonen" its north Troms and Finnmark that have less tax, cheaper electricity and from this autumn free kindergarden and some other goods ... its to attract people to move north, houses are ofcourse alot cheaper here (again unless you live in cities) but travel is more expensive sadly.

Extreme north of Norway like nordland troms og Finnmark (Bodo , Tromsø,vadso) is very beautiful & nice people I think Sami people also live their for centuries but only problem is too much cold 🥶, worst weather that's why less population 😊, so govt of Norway is giving some benifits to attract people. Also traveling is difficult! Agree let me ask what about social life ? Racism???

@@zainulabdin1720 I could lie and say no racism but I live in a small town of less than 1000 people, we have 27 different nationality here and I do believe that raceism as freeze out people of different color is not common or happen at all, among people words like that black one or she from Thailand can be used but not for raceism but more that people might not remember your name and its more a point of telling the other person who. We have had tamils here, people from africa and general asian people living here without problems. Temperature at the coast is... well warmer at winter than inland, and it switch in the summer then we often get a colder seawind in.... wintertemperatures are around -2 to -10 degrees normally with some colder days where it gets cold as -15 to -20 celcius

Medical is socialized in Scandinavia and probably in Europe. They tax tobacco heavily to pay into system because chances of getting cancer increases with tobacco and they want consumers contributing to system because of chances of their utilization of those funds contributed.
