+Fo the Blake family, living abroad was seven years in the making. After choosing Portugal as their new home, leaving Grandpa behind was a NO-GO! Portugal unfolded a life of new adventures for Grandpa now learning Portuguese at 81 years old and the Blake family found that they are already very “Portuguese” since multi-generational families are the norm in Portugal. Join me on their journey six months after they arrived in Portugal, learning more about their move with a multi-generational family, choosing a school in Portugal for their pre-teen son, keeping the family united with their adult son in the US, the emotions around being an immigrant, socializing and working from abroad in Portugal.

Hello Rowena, it was great to hear this interview with Cordelia. Thanks for all the helpful information. I will be moving to the Silver Coast in a few months and was very interested to hear you speak about the Silver Coast Entrepreneurial Group. I would love to make contact with the group. Please can you send me the contact details and information about the group so I can introduce myself. Thanking you in advance. Best Regards, Donna Maria Loiola

Boa Noite, obrigada Rowena. It was lovely to hear Cordelia's story and for her to share her experiences. I wonder if you know the name of the app she referred to for the pharmacies. I couldn't make out what she said. I think Caldas is a good place for families... it's a nice city, close to the beaches and has almost anything you could need... and even if you don't have. car, it's easy to get to Lisboa. I'm a self-employed business coach for women. I'd love to know the name of the silver coast women's networking group. I'm moving to the Peniche area... in a few months. Thank you !! Cheers ~
