I am moving across town and want to transplant my present garden to the new place. This has been a great lesson in when to do it and I like how you divided the plants. Thank you for your great advise. Zone 4.

If planted/transplanted in early to late spring and/or autumn when temperatures are at optimum then the chances of survival increase significantly.
