P.S. Note that the WhatsApp Beta enabling the feature is not out yet. You will have to wait for a while before you can actually try this new official method to move your WhatsApp data.

I have recently used this method with move to iOS app. I followed all the instructions and watched all my data transfer to my iOS device.I then downloaded WhatsApp on my iOS device and logged in,however the start button did not come up,and sadly it did not transfer the history on my WhatsApp.strange thing is that all my whatsapp history is on my iPhone storage.any ideas of what may be wrong here?

This doesnt work for me, I have gone through all the steps. when whatsapp is installed i can only select an old icloud backup and not the data from my current android phone. I've tried it several times but it doesn't work any way.

Hope this featyre was available when i boight iPhone 12 in 2021 December becoz i had Samsung galaxy S8 and i badly wanted to transfer whatsapp data from s8 to iphone 12 but DR Phone and wondershare were all paid and had a 50% somewhat success rate!

I dont understand if you reset the iphone there is no use for updating the whatsapp since there will be no app on the Iphone. Am I wrong? Every youtube video says that update your whatsapp and then reset your iphone to factory reset. Am i missing something? I have tried twice thit the move to ios. I dont know if it is stuck but it has been more than 6 hours and the last bit [like 20%] is stuck. the app wont tell there is an error just the timer goes ever 20 minutes 1 minute up. I switched from iphone to android like 6 months ago but I have had it with the android, cant take it anymore. Any help?

I tried the method, unfortunately it is not working to me, while trying to restore, the iphone not showing the whatsapp as the option, it has the options messages, contacts etc but no whatsapp. I am using iphone12

For me it's not work out. After spending lot of time i give up iphone transfer data from Android to iPhone. Moving data through ios is completed successful.But when I start in iphone seems what's up chart ad group chats are missing. I could see few what's media data. But i missed chart history. While setting up in iphone. I don't see any option to recover/transfer in iphone.

What I have done is that: 1- Backup all iPhone data to iTunes on my PC 2- Reset my iPhone to factory settings. 3- Move WhatsApp from Android to iPhone 4- Backup WhatsApp data to iCloud on the iPhone 5- Restore my iPhone backup from the iTunes using PC 6- Restore the WhatsApp backup from the iCould. This is what I have done and it was ok for

I am trying this four days.@ one point i transfered only whatsapp files n i got all the chats but didnt do backup to i cloud and reset again and tried to transfer contacts,msgs,gallery n whatsapp all together but didnt get whatsapp chats.now whatsapp blocked me for 24 hours to enter the code again.
