Love the pacing explanation! I noticed it’s one of the least talked about on RU-vid for film making tutorials aside from a boatload of channels only offering tutorials on transitions, b-roll, color grading, how to do this effects, etc
I said it when you started uploading videos and I'll say it again: You're very good and have a unique style. Please, if you ever feel the urge to follow the trends in RU-vid film making, just don't do it. Let us see raw Aidin Robbins all the way. Thanks for keeping the uploads coming.
Great explanation it definitely takes a lot of time a practice to get pacing right but this tutorial really helps explain it to hopefully speed up that process! 🔥
Solid video bud! I've found that I've spent way too much time trying to pick out the "perfect" music for videos lol. At some point you just need to make a decision
the sound design was sickkk, really brings the footage to life. I would love to know how you captured the sounds and how you balanced them with your background music. great work as always!
Easily the most informative tutorial I've seen yet. Just jam packed with great tips and techniques. Went straight to my saved list. Loved the video btw. NYC has a special place in my soul. I don't live there but travel there frequently. Love the city and all those who call it home! Thanks dude and keep up the amazing work!
Wow you cover some important topics in the video production industry! We like what you do, keep going. Anytime you're in Phoenix hit us up. If you want, message us @dmakproductions on IG and we can connect. You do really great work.
damn ...🔥 I'm literally controlling myself in this lockdown to not to shoot and here you came with this banger🔥🔥❣️Boom love to make the video with same song ..these are amazing
Great information Aidin. Very much appreciated, perhaps in another video you can be editing a video and showing examples of pacing on an actual clip. I know it would be helpful to me.
Hi Aidin, in another video you taught that we are supposed to cut or edit to the beat. If you are editing without listening to the music, how can you accomplish the final goal of making the video fit the beat? Another question: What do you do if your video is longer or shorter than the music you picked?
Your insight is amazing and inspirational. You've helped me to identify so many things that I felt were "wrong" - but I was not seeing them clearly - you hit them spot on! I am pretty sure that my videos will improve dramatically because of the MANY things you've taught me. I am immensely and forever grateful to you for that. Cheers! (btw - your videos go into my "Best of the Best" saved folder!)
Commenting about you talking with your hands. JK. It's not the first nor the last time I would save your videos to my favourite tutorials, you always brings a fresh new look that nobody else does. As much as I appreciate the trending styles of kold or jorden or the brolls of schiffer or lingren, your style is much different and you always focusing on underatted stuff that I wont see anywhere else. Thank you for sharing your content with us amateurs, keep it up!.
Great video. You deserve more followers. Well explained and examples shown. And as in all your videos your colour grading is insane. Beautiful to watch.
I recently put together my first little project film for fun and actually ran into some of these things while working on it. Seeing this video on the topic explains what I felt while I was editing. Sometimes I would feel that a cut with the beat was right and other times this was not the case. I also originally ended the video kind of abruptly and decided to include a fade out clip to finish the video off because it "felt better". Very helpful video Aidin, thanks! Also, does anyone know what that music archive place he shows us is? Is it a website?
Hey Aidin. Hope all is well buddy. NOt sure if you answered this already but what aspects ratio are you using for your videos. At first I thought it was 2 to 1 but somehow it seems like it's something else. I could be wrong. Can you confirm. Thanks Champ!
@@AidinRobbins It looks better then When I Do it lol...Must be all that sexy composition you got going on...Thanks for Responding so Quickly you are Bomb
Really well put together video. I appreciated the info about different feels/colors distributed evenly so that nothing overstays its welcome or drags out. ..............keep up the great content.............
Hey nice video. Because my college completely closed I made my way down to SC earlier this week from NYC I really miss the city right now - hope you are staying safe and healthy 🙏🏼
Dude I’m still early in your video but I’m so so impressed so far. You’ve been putting in work in these last few videos man I’m blown away. Ok back to the vid
