hi, i can not believe how easy can be learn, I am from argentina I am 25 years old I have just start to sk8boarding and you are my teacher, I love you! thanks and Aguante la patineta!!!!!!!!!!
People tend to forget that backside and frontside is a way of naming where a object goes. If you were riding switch, it would be a frontside 360 shuvit because your scooping the board and causing it to spin in front of you, the frontside direction. But since it is nollie, your scooping the board behind your back, hence the term backside.
Its a very long argument but simply put: Body turns are in relation to the back (but not necessarily dominant) foot, and back foot is related to the direction of the chest and head. Board turns (in shuv its for example ) are in relation the the direction of the foot that does the Pop/kick. Its front if you kick/push to front of body(anterior). Its back if behind (posterior). If he followed the direction of the board with his body, it would be a BS nollie, because hes regular footed, hes in the nollie position so the back foot is the right foot, and an outward turn from that foot (away from the body) is the clockwise direction. Thats a BS turn. But the left foot shuved the board in front. Thats why its a FS shuv. Realize in any given nollie trick where both the body and board turn in the same direction, neither will ever travel in the same direction in regards to naming. When doing a ollie/fakie FS 180, the board is also turning FS, just because it so happens the "back foot" is also the "kicking foot"
wow really nice tip, i could land it yesterday! the front foot scoop was really a help, because i was just pushing my back foot, and it spinned away! and guys, It is BS, when you do tricks nollie, normal BS becomes FS.
the technical way to judge any trick is which way your/ or your board is facing after a 90 degree turn. With the excpetion of grinds, cause you judge that on if your back is facing or if your front is facing the obstacle. So aronl is right this is a backside trick.
i WISH PEOPLE WOULD GIVE BETTER EXPLINATIONS FOR TRIX LIKE U DO, I find these easier than fakie FS 360 shuvs for sum odd reason.AND like ur snowny and rainy back grounds, its pretty kool :)
oh my...thanx so much for this trick tip...i'm trying to pull them for more than a month now and i sure didn't have a correct foot placement! try it next time i'll skate
dude, what i sayd it really aplys to nollie, switch, normal and fakie, but not to all ,like for example nollie varial kickflip,if it should be all switched that means that nollie varial kickflip is if ur doing it switch,a hardflip, and the normal nollie hardflip is switch varial, and about the grinds and slides i learned this when i was trying fs 50-50 and bs boardslide,i saw the difference :D
Another very nice trick tip. i really like the job you´re doing. very good work. on thing i´d like to see: put a clip where you´re doing the trick at the beginning of the vid, that everyone knows what part of the trick you explain. hope you know what i mean. maybe you like that idea. go on like this. i like to watch your videos :)
@omegaforceshockwave yes its bs, this guy is not an idiot, he actually gives some of the best trick tips ive seen in awhile. go on the berrics and you will see that you are wrong.
HAHA Almost has Haslam, Lutzka, daewon, and wilt. Girl has Brandon biebel, koston, johnson, mike mo, mike carrol, Alien Workshop has Berra, Bledsoe , dyrdek, salazar, Wayy to many more companies and skaters to name
this is frontside. fs and bs only switch around when you are talking about rotations. They call it a fs shuvit because you are kicking your foot in front of you. therefore it doesn't switch around nollie because you are still kicking in front of you and this is actually a nollie FS 360 shuvit
@omegaforceshockwave yeah i know it does i had the same train of thought when i was learning the diffeence between nollie fs and bs, but this is still a nollie bs 360 shuv, so dont use all caps and learn before you speak
what is it called when i do pretty much the exact same thing he did (even facing the same way as he is in the video even tho he is regular footed and im goofy footed) except i land the trick facing the oposite way i started the trick ??
I don´t get this whole BS FS thing. I ride goofy and if I got a rail to the right it is in my back so BS right? But what if I make an 180 Ollie and I turn the way like jumping on a rail which is clockwise in my case? Still BS! And if i make that Board flip in the same direction it is a FS Shove it? I dont get it.
Isn't it FS? A Nollie "Varial Heelflip" should also be called then a nollie inward heelflip because a varial heelflip is a fs shove it heelflip. I know nollie is different but only with the body turning around. The tricks are the same.
Yay thanks Aronl you're the best, just landed a few! :D And d00ds, it's backside, think about it: Backside is clockwise, frontside is counterclockwise, NOOBS ;) :D
No, it's a BS shoveit, because it is nollie, and everything is vice versa on it. If you do normal FS shoveits, they will be BS shoveits if you go switch or nollie
yeah i can so when you do a nollie fs 180 , your facing with the front of you to the travel, when you do a nollie bs 180 , your facing with the back to the way of travel, you now what i mean, sorry four my bad english
Technically its backside. Do a regular bs shove it and tell me it does not spin the same way as that. Most people call it frontside because they dont know what they are talking about, not because its fs just because they are dumb. If everyone was jumping off cliffs would you?
ok so when its nollie dont think about you being the opisite stance so im regual and when i do a nollie fs shuv it for a goofy person doing the trick it would be a fakie bs shuv it but because when i do it the board turns the same way as when i do a fs shuv it its conciderd a nollie fs shuv it
hmm i dont know about you people but that looks fs to me like if your doing it switch its the same but people say its fs a switch backside flip and a nollie backside flip have the same motion so why do people call nollie backside nollie frontside?
the most easiest thing to say on fs and bs,this thing i sayd to my friends for them to understand easier,if at 90 degrees ur with the back facing where u are going then it is backside, and if at 90 degrees ur with ur front facing in the direction where are u going then its fs,easy huh?
Aronl's right - its a nollie BACKSIDE 360 NOT A nollie FRONTSIDE because frontside and backside are switched when you're going nollie. Kids should get their facts right sometimes - nice tricktip
I do have to say that that fisheye looks pretty ridiculous. I mean, it looks good watching the trick, but its more difficult to see how it works because the board is distorted.
