I have a friend that has a "pet" moose. In reality this moose comes into her backyard every year to give birth and she is there for about 3 - 4 days. She learned very quickly to just watch from a small window to see what's going on and the for the few days the moose is there she no longer has a backyard and she is ok with it.

Kangaroos aren't dangerous. Maybe under very specific situations, like getting one cornered, or getting close to a large one and surprising it, but most of the time they will just run away. I think there's only been 2 fatal attacks ever.

The thing with moose are that (if i remember correctly) can kick in any direction with all four of their legs, meaning nowhere around a moose is safe. They can also run and swim fast, and can dive up to like 20 feet. And the best thing to have with you in mountain lion country is a hiking stick (that and an emergency hiking whistle, they're really loud). You can raise it above your head to make yourself look bigger, or put it in front of you to give yourself some distance between the mountain lion, or use it to kick up dust and rocks safely (not needing to bend down).

Thinking bear can’t run down hill is probably due to there longer front legs making it harder for them but of course they can still do it haha

I once had a dream about two white moose. It was a WEIRD freaking dream..cause it was a LUCID dream that I remembered very clearly. One person already tested it with a few different species of cats and the servals were the only ones chasing the laser. The bigger the size of a cat the bigger its food needs to be so that they're not at a negative net calories. A light from a laser pointer would be bug sized so there's no reason for them to waste the energy to hunt for something that small.

hi, swedish guy here (though i'm an iraqi immigrant who was born disabled, but that's besides the point), we have brown bears here in Sweden, contrary to the popular belief that we have polar bears. in Sweden, the brown bears are called the shy giants of the forest for a reason. that is because the brown bear would rather not want to be seen by you, so there's pretty much no chance you're gonna re-enact the fight sequence from The Revenant. :)

Think about it for a second, for pretty much every predator on this planet their main weapon is their _teeth_ so of course most animals are going to see another one showing their teeth as a threat. Your mouth is full of flesh rending knives and grinders that can crush bones, only humans are weird enough to think flashing them at another creature is a friendly gesture.

Laser pointers rarely work on large cats. The reasons it usually works on small ones is because they prefer to hunt small prey and a dot from a laser pointer reminds them of said prey. Large cats hunt large game and rarely go after anything small, so a dot from a laser pointer is likely to not get their attention and if it does they’re just as likely to not care.
