How to (not) prepare for Extempore Speech

I was in 12th standard and the topic was "Lotion"...I became a robot for 10 minutes and I came back to my seat....🤣🤣🤣

My most memorable speech was when I was doing my masters in sociology. Our professor asked us all to prepare a speech on AIM IN LIFE.... We were like whaaaaat??? That's a topic we used to get in junior classes.... But masters!! When the day came nobody was ready for it... Well but I just wanted to get over with it (for the very first time) so raised my hand and started giving the speech which I wrote just b'4 the professor entered. And I am proud of how I presented.... It was something like.. My aim in life... If you would hv asked me 12-13 yrs ago it would have been doctor. If you would hv asked me 10 yrs ago it would have been lawyer.... But now when you ask me I say my aim in life is to travel. Life teaches us and with the tarka of traveling we can gain or grasp a broader field of knowledge. I am not saying that this will be my ultimate aim in life but for now this is it and the sociology subject is fulfilling my aim by helping me to connect with the society..... (And etc.... I forgot rest) damn I wrote too much.... Got lost in olden days!

I was in 7 standard I very vividly remember this incident. On the day I was all excited as well nervous too since it was gonna be my first extempore speech. The day arrived I fully prepared myself by memorizing haha topic was on Camera 📷😁 there they announced my name with full confident i moved towards the stage. I gave my introduction part best of the best with a high voice n full expression I continued my topic for next 4 mins and after that when I missed out one word I messed up my speech n couldn't remembered anything The only thing I remembered was "Oh My GoD" mic was straight towards me all the audience teachers haedmaster present there started laughing except me. I stood for another 1min holding mic in statue pose. I preferred to leave the stage thn..... Was so Embrassed!😫 I hesitated to join my friends infact. Results announced N guess what When they announced "who would stood 2nd place ?"people started calling my name I was like I already died from Embrassement why are they calling my name again- finally I stood 2nd .🙄😜 I realised how long or short,half or full your speech might be speak each words with full confidence. I think that's the only reason I stood 2nd place for my introduction part. Thanks for reading....

The first time I did an extempore speech was in school when we had a recreation week.✌..Iwas in 6th standard..I was really nervous cuz I was the youngest between all of the contestants😣 .... My turn came(almost peed my pants😓😓😓)the topic was *What would you do if you were invisible* I'm a really talktive girl 😜so I talked and talked and talked .. The time limit was 10 minutes and I literally talked for 7 minutes till I got a warning belll 😂.... I literally thought I messed up 😐😐... The recreation week ended and it was Time for the results 🙏... And as soon as my teacher said (the host) and the first prize for extempore speech goes to 👤👤... everyone shouted my name which was so embarrassing😿😿 ....I got the 1st prize .. It's was the best thing 😻😻I had every done and now I'm in 9th standard and my seniors and juniors still call me the invisible girl .... It was long I know but I hope you liked my 1st extempore speech story 😉

But still, yes I do have participated in such competitions just to overcome by timidness...and yes I remember I got First prize in my 9th or 10th class in Mono Act competition...which was a astonishing thing for me..😄 Well the speech about MOTHER was very nice...yes moms are really a great blessing...no one can ever love you like your mother...they sacrifice a lot...for their Children and yes they deserve all the respect... The first I did extempore speech was during my fourth standard. At the moment I didn't even know the exact meaning of extempore speech.😂lol But my teacher insisted me to join And so I had to.. But I had no idea how to prepare.. The day came and I was up there with the topic "Animal's " The only words I said was ,"Animals has four leg's" And ran down the stage ASAP... Hehehe...

Recently in my college week literature event I got the topic, "hostel food" I told about the topic in a very humorous way. I enjoyed the moment because all the judges were laughing, I guess they were also relating to the things. And I was praised a lot by a judge. So that made my day.

I gave my first speech when I was in 7 standard and i wasn't even ready to participate. My class teacher motivated me a lot and told me to practice more and more but I was not confident that time I didn't practice I thought,"Jo hoga dekha jayega"....and than finally my name had been called out and i saw my friends were laughing at me without any reason😢😢 at that time my english was very poor. Sir told me,"dont worry u can do it and now choose a paper from my hand" 😵My heart beat got faster and faster when i saw my topic 😜 i was very happy😎😎 My topic was *Katrina Kaif. 😆that was easy for me bcz i have the knowledge about actress and their struggles. After finishing my Speech my friends came to me and said ,'unexpected😐 but Jo bhi ho i won the Junior speech competition 😇😌 Asm feeling ever. Soon I became star of my school 😌😌🍁🍁
