How do I stop worrying? We all know we shouldn't worry, but if you are prone to worry or anxiety like I am, it can feel impossible not to...it's literally the default setting of your mind. If that's you, I want to share a hack with you that makes it a LOT easier to not worry - and this hack is directly from Scripture, so you know it's solid. I'm also going to share with you what I personally tend to worry about, and how this hack helps - so you can see what it looks like in application. Will pray for you Kaci! Remember God is your strength. Let Him take care of you first and foremost. Listen to Him when you need to rest and take time away to pray. Jesus did! I've been a working mom for 14 years, and it's still hard to find that balance. Proverbs 31 and remembering "Everything you do... do for the glory of God" helps me get through. Working helps me appreciate time with my children so much more. It is nice to have more income so we can give more. And I am blessed with a wonderful husband who helps out so much. When I'm working it allows him to bond with the kids. And most days I do love my job which is part time and I feel purpose in helping people there. I have only watched your video about having healthy Christian friendships, because my friendships have changed over the years and that video helped my perspective. Then saw this video amongst so many others! You probably have one about persevering during trials and can listen to your own advice 😉. And I would accept this struggle of balancing work and motherhood as an invitation from God to build your spiritual muscles and grow even closer to Him, that you NEED Him still on a daily basis to prepare your heart and attitude for each day...each hour...each moment...when you're tired and spread thin... I pray that you will listen to the Lord's leading so whatever choice you make in how to spend each 24 hr day will be one of peace and conviction. It looks like you help so many people I hope you have some close family and friends to be of help to you too in this new season of life! 🙏❤️

I live a similar life as you. It is difficult, especially these days not to worry. I'm learning to talk with Jesus throughout the day and calmness comes over me. I'll pray for you. Try giving God all control over everything. Because He does.

what helps me is to practice gratitude in all things, Thanking God for the small things throughout the day makes me feel like life isn't so mad. Also there is no shame in getting therapy or getting chemical balancing meds, anxiety isn't always a thought thing but a science thing

When i feel anxious i say the Serenity prayer, line by line, thinking of what each sentence means. I pray first thing in the morning , often throughout the day, and right before bed. I still worry at times, but prayer helps immensely. God bless 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

I needed this I worry so much. Please pray for me. I’m so weary. I want to give up. The devil wants me to lose my faith but God won’t allow it. Since covid I fell on a terrible hardship, like many others. I lost my job for declining the vaccine. I declined due to my health conditions. I suffer from lupus, and heart disease. I’m now waitressing but not making nearly enough to get by. I’m a single mom, my husband is with God. I still miss him dearly. My children are autistic and non verbal, I’m overwhelmed they require so much from me. I recently started homeschooling them due to them having do many issues in school. Jesus hear my prayers. I’m tired of struggling every single month. I can’t even afford the tools I need to homeschool my boys. But I trust in you Jesus even as I struggle providing groceries for my children. I’m ashamed. I feel like a failure. I get harassed and put down on this app for sharing my testimony. All I need are prayers. I only keep pushing because of Christ. Walking with faith not by sight!

I’m a worrier…always have been, but as I age my worrying is getting worse. My husband and I are in our mid-sixties and I just retired. My husband had quadruple bypass a few years ago and now he’s been diagnosed with PAD. I’m so worried about losing him. We’ve been together nearly forty years and we have no children. He’s all I have and I’m so afraid. Please pray for him and his health. I pray we’ll be together for many more years…healthy, happy and blessed.

Lately I’ve been feeling anxious of relapsing back into my old ways (lust, temptation, watching 🌽, intrusive thoughts, fearing that I’ll become something tht I don’t tolerate) ik that it’s the enemy/devil that’s attacking me with those thoughts, since the past few days I’ve been talking/praying to God. But at the same time I feel like I’m missing something, or what I’m doing isn’t enough. But I do know tht His timing is always right, and tht everything is and goes His way, and not mine. I wish we were friends in person so I could encourage you 🥺 I used to struggle with sexual sin but don’t be so hard on yourself. i have learned that pressuring yourself to NOT SIN will make you feel restricted. Learn to be obedient because you are already loved and with grace not severe discipline

Thank you God for sending me this video. I’ve never felt so attacked by the devil as during these past weeks.. and it’s my first week back in college and a foreign city with a foreign language. I pray I stop worrying about things and thoughts that don’t come from God. I pray I’m able to love what God is giving me and not worry about the future. I pray I stop needing to control everything in my life to the point where I’m physically and mentally hurting myself. I pray I’m freed from anorexia, depression, adhd, anxiety attacks, chronic pain, insomnia, dermatillomania, isolation, perfectionism and impatience. All of which comes from me needing to have absolute control over everything… and it’s letting demons inside my dreams and my everyday life. In the name of Jesus I pray that everyone watching this video is freed from control and fully surrender to our Father in Heaven.

I too, have been feeling so attacked by the devil for the past two months....in so much back pain from all the anxiety tensing my muscles. Let us trust in God, and I love what you said about praying that you are able to love what God is giving you and not worrying about the future. Worrying is not what God wants for us, but rather for us to continue to turn to Him always. He can heal us from our anorexia, depression, anxiety, chronic pain, etc., everything! Well, in my opinion that would be a #1 issue, NEVER compare or compete with anyone!!! There will always be someone with more money (root to ALL evil) someone who is thinner, someone more successful....WHO CARES!!! God made us the way we are, the only reason why many compare themselves to anyone else, is because you are insecure with yourself, you aren't happy for who you are😭 you maybe chunky, you may not have MATERIALISTIC things, like the best house, the best car, we don't judge for what others have, we only feel the good energy from a person who has a good heart, who does right. I struggle with this off and on sometimes, but I use to be really bad. I’ve never been one to do affirmations, but recently I found some affirmation about self love, on RU-vid, and they have made ALL THE DIFFERENCE. I just made myself listen to them over and over for a full month. It was life changing. But also knowing that everyone feels this way sometimes. You are not alone.

God does not give us a spirit of fear but of power love and a sound mind. That fear comes from the enemy. Fight back with the word of God (scripture’s) and remember that God loves your children just as much as he loves you and every other human being. I am currently 23. weeks pregnant with my first baby! I need to surrender to God the worry about becoming a new parent. I have so many fears regarding not being able to provide for my baby, not having the patience needed for the upcoming challenges and falling away from my quiet time each day with God. This is so timely! I just gave birth to my second daughter 5 weeks ago and have been struggling with so much worry and anxiety about something bad happening to my children, and just fear about hardship in general. God is walking me through so gently and reminding me in so many ways that His ways are not my own and that I need to trust Him. Trusting Him won’t change my circumstances but it will change my heart.

Thank you for this. I too struggle with worry🙃. I have three worries that I will share: 1. Worried about finding a job. My current job's contract ends in July so Ive been worried about that. 2. Not being Married. I am 32 and still single 🙃. I don't mind usually but sometimes I do. That and am I even worthy of love to begin with? 3. What is my purpose/calling that the Lord has on my life? I have an idea, but still praying for clarity and guidance. I think that is what I am most worried about but all three equally.

Our main purpose as Christians is to make disciples. Wherever you go , in whatever you do, to whomever you talk to, share truth and love. We are to be a light in this dark world. May the Lord give you the strength, wisdom and discernment that you need in these dark evil days. Use your time being single to deeply study God's word. I too have been struggling with finding a husband. But I feel Jesus drawing me closer and closer to Him. One message that has struck me is that maybe God needs to prepare me before bringing someone into my life. That if he brought someone when I wasn't ready, it wouldn't be good for me. I’ve been focusing more on earthly things rather than Godly things. I’m constantly in the mindset of comparing myself, my life, and wanting more. Worried about money and getting inside my head that I’m not enough at times. Instead of focusing on the blessings that I once prayed for. I would say my BIGGEST worry right now is: Will I be able to give birth? I'm so terrified to birth my baby in two short months. I have always wanted my own child but one of my biggest fears was the giving birth part of it all. So if you could all say a prayer that the rest of my pregnancy would go smoothly and that God would just take away the fear and worry of bringing her into the world. I need to stop worrying about being in a relationship that I have no control over, God is telling me to let go and trust Him and to stop worrying but it’s been hard for me to let go. Harder than I thought. I’ve always had a strong relationship with the Lord but this season of my life is really testing my will. May the Lord give you the strength that you need. At the age of two my son had to have eye surgery. My body was tense and my mind was going crazy, but I kept steering my mind back to God, crying for help and a peace that passes all understanding. Seven years ago my husband almost died of a heart attack and went through major heart surgery. I had so many crazy emotions that attacked my mind and body but I allowed all these emotions to drive me to my knees. When you have thoughts moments of being overwhelmed, go to your quiet place and cry out to God and tell Him how you feel. He can handle everything!! Admit to Him you can't handle it on your own. He is always there for you. I've been listening to Jonathan Ogden, worship session - 17/01/23 ( I know that date is weird, but that is how it is shown on RU-vid). Blessings ❤️

Sister it looks like a generational illness, it could be a generational curse, have you received clairity about this from Jesus? He can break that over you and your daughter, deliver you from it and give you both a new heart! There is a sister I know whom God called to carry his anointing and heal the sick, and God is healing and working miracles through her ministry, she ministers all the time in the US, she even goes abroad, and she has a channel, where God's power moves and He heals people even watching through their screen, her channel is Apostle Kathyrn Krick, I hope you receive guidance from the Lord and I pray that Jesus heals both of you❤

A worry I need to surrender is caring about what others could assume of me. I worry I won’t measure up for the people around me or that I won’t measure up for myself or my heart’s desires. This causes me to be very hard on myself even over the smallest things to the point of obsessing in the “wrongs”. As a christian and as a dog mom/daughter/granddaughter and as a single woman, I try so hard to not worry about the things that don't really need worrying, I am prone to worrying, and I am also prone to anxiety, as well, mainly because I actually have general anxiety disorder. Dont claim it as an illness of your own but go to God for him to deliver you from it!!! thats not your portion! perfect health and a sound mind is your portion, your inheritance in Jesus! Position yourself in His anointing! Thank you for this video. *takes a deep breath* I want to share my number one worry that always tends to haunt me.. 1. Fear of being alone, I live with my Mother. Family wise we are really all each other has to count on. I am the only child and I'm not good at "handling life" so I often worry about something happening to her, and what would I do if something did, if I would be able to handle it mentally and emotionally. I feel like the enemy often attacks me by placing nasty, disturbing thoughts in my mind for me to ponder about it and feel anxious. Things like accidents, etc, it would get so bad to the point if my mother would make a quick trip to the store, I'd randomly get worried like crazy if she took long coming back- and get really afraid I wouldnt see her again. Hey Moona! Remember when those thoughts come to rebuke them, talk truth to them. Remember that God is in charge and in control. Instead, say a prayer for her and trust in Him. I live with my mom too but something comforting is that God gives us the grace to deal with the present moment. So He will give you the grace whenever and whatever happens. You will have the grace. Remember to stay close to God. He is watching over you. I pray He may give you peace and that the Holy Spirit fill you with wisdom and hope. Be not discouraged or afraid. God loves you!! Amen.

I used to battle with death anxiety it was horrible and I didn’t want to sleep because I was afraid I would die. One night I just stopped caring and my healing began. It’s not an overnight change so have grace for yourself everyday. No matter how real the fear is don’t give in. I’ve got a fear and worry of not finishing strong, of not staying focused on the right things and getting off track. Of not getting it right. Perfection is exhausting and I pray the Lord would hear my pray to free me from it and the race of people pleasing, worrying about not having or doing something that makes lots, etc. many of our worries are so similar and thank you for making a video like this. I had just put in a two weeks notice from a job that has been trying to politically condition us, and I made this decision out of what the Bible tells us. It did not sit well in my heart. I’ve been putting full faith in God that He will lead me to another career path, but I’m anxious because of finances etc. I’m spending my day off in prayer and fasting today. I also discovered a strange bump on my head that has brought more worry. I know and have experienced the miracles of what God has done in my life, and He has made a way for me when certain things seemed impossible. This video was truly so helpful. I think my biggest worries right now (out of all the ones I'm working to replace 😂) are my concerns about my kingdom spouse and my finances. I suppose I could also include my relationship with God. In working towards strengthening and growing my relationship with Him, I’m learning to fully trust that he has things like my kingdom relationship and financial situation in his hands, and that He’ll take care of me, according to his will and plan. I don’t think worry will ever completely dissipate, we are human after all, but I think the key is having that divine peace and knowing God has everything in control even in the midst of the chaos and turmoil.

This just popped up in my feed, and it came to me when I needed it the most! We got a nine week old puppy, and of course it is exhausting and challenging. But I find I have been yelling at her more, like when I take her out and immediately when she comes in she "goes". After watching this video, God showed me that I am expecting WAY too much from her, too soon. After all, she has only been in this world a short while, and has much to learn. But my lesson is to trust in God during the process and let go of my expectations. Life is too short to not enjoy a bouncy fluffy puppy!🐕

A worry I need to surrender is about how I'm supposed to manage life with health issues that make tasks doable for most others impossible or really hard for me. And while watching this, I received this beautiful gift from God: my grandma wanted to give my mom a gift for Easter by paying a gardener to take care of the garden before our house, so all was pretty. And when he needed something (which is why I paused the video and joined him), he asked if he should bring the garden waste to the dumping ground - and, while he was at it, he could take the garden waste we already had there, too. Lifting sacks full of garden waste to bring them to the dumping ground (or even to put them into our garbage can) is either impossible or really painful for me. So not only was I spared days of work (and pain) by having someone come and fix the garden for us, but also, so much more hurt was taken from me because the waste was taken care of, too. What a beautiful gift from God, while watching your video on how He provides for us, I'm seriously THIS close to weeping.

The worries that I need to Surrender to God is not meeting the one 😭😭 As cheezy as it sounds 😂 I really find it difficult not to worry about this because I'm now in a new environment (university) whereby I meet hundreds of people by the day... And as I see new people and some cute guys 😏 I get so obsessed in wanting to meet new people and find a guys who would be interested in dating me... Because of this I have so much worry and insecurities of not feeling beautiful enough for a guy to like me and it really takes my focus away from Jesus and His Word. I would also at times feel insecure about myself and when I did, I remember coming across this video about how words are so powerful. Everytime you feel that way just say "I am fearfully and wonderfully" made. It has worked for me. It won't automatically flip the switch but with time, if you keep on saying it you will start to become more confident about yourself appearance wise and character wise of course. Hope this helps

I have been blessed with a wonderful house, a wonderful family and close and loving friends. I have exceptional health, good results in my studies, and heard from most pastors that God has a special plan for me. I believe it. I always try to drive my mind back to that, and be thankful for that, whenever I pray, no matter the reason. And yet, I've been attacked in these last days with fear, anxiety, temptations, and a very hard trial. I can barely enjoy what God gave me, I am scared and being attacked inside my mind. It's been so hard. But I don't want to give up. God has, in big or small ways, answered my prayers. He has provided for me. I thank him for everything and everyone I have. I thank him for what he has been doing. For what he has done for me from the day I was born. I ask him that he would renew not only my strenght, but the strenght of all of us in this comment section. That he would help us to focus our eyes on his plan, on why he is letting us go through these struggles. That he would increase our faith with the strenght that can move mountains. That he would guide us through this valley, and always remind us that he will never let us come before a mountain he knows we can't climb. Never let us through hardship we can't endure. He will never leave us. He will make us whole again. All bad things shall come to pass. All works for the good of those who believe in Him. I pray that he helps us find the escape he promises in 1 Corinthians 10:13. I pray that the peace of the Lord, that exceeds all understanding, will quench our worries, and let us wait in Him. I pray that this prayer may reach all of my brothers and sisters that are in despair and feeling lost. That He may alleviate our sorrows and give our frail little boats direction in the storm. I pray that He will not make haste to remove our pain, but that His will, and not mine, be done. That He would remind us that His yoke is easy, and His burden is light. I pray that He will give us rest in the simple but eternal truth that Jesus loves us. I thank the Lord, for he is certainly hearing this prayer. In Jesus name I pray, Amen

I have heart problems, and had a heart attack two weeks ago. Jesus sat with me during it, taking the pain and fear. He told me I will be okay, that he's got me. I fixate and get anxious about it sometimes, but when it gets going, I just think about how I gave it to God and that He has me, and my anxiety goes away. Amen.

You know, one of the well known scriptures that I have lean toward is Matthew six verse 33 and of course, it basically says the same thing that you have spoken about in Luke about seeking first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added onto you. Yet I have not really taken it beyond that into more of a personal depth as you have in this teaching, I so appreciate the body of Christ and Holy Spirit works through each one of us so differently that we can learn through each other as he teaches each one of us and guides and leads us until all righteousness so with that said, I thank you🤗🙌
