Excellent video! I was hoping to find one that actually showed the oil soaking in a bit - I only recently found out that I should be oiling my wooden kitchen utensils, so it's great to have a bit of a visual guide for when to oil. The other thing I would love to see it how you can tell when it's been oiled enough (I heard something about water beading on the surface, but I'm not sure). Thanks!
Thanks! So glad you enjoyed the video. For me, the color is a good indicator that it's been oiled enough. The one coat that I did in the video darkened the whole board, so that was enough for this time. You don't need to use a lot or do multiple coats. Just keep an eye on your board and when it looks too dry give it a coat and that's it :)
