I've got a Dacia sandero and tried one of those pumps to suck out the oil!!!!! Marked a 5 litre container and was well impressed with the amount of oil that came out. Dipstick at the front so put the ramps under the back wheels......👍

My brother has one of these huge, mechanics ramps. It's the kind that you can drive your car on. When changing oil, he gets up under there, sits on a upside down bucket and changes the oil. My dad handed it down to him when he passed. My brother changes oil for me in my car (as does all his vehicles). All I have to buy is the oil and filter.

Diesel Engines produce a lot of soot, you could change the oil in 500 miles and it would be totally black again

@@Keep_itflowing oh goodness it must be the way the microphone was picking up the sound. Personally I don't let oil go past 5000 miles, but 7000 is a lot better than most people do.

my car (when its on the road) usually doesn't even do 3000 miles and I still change the oil every year 😂

@@Keep_itflowing that's absolutely perfect, practically no Engine wear when you do that. People simply don't realise how important oil changes are, especially so in modern Engines with low tension Piston Rings.
