2:10 that's what I love about my own longboard, instead of it snapping in half, it bends because it's made of bamboo and it's extremely durable, it could even get run over by a truck and just bend
That's a pintail style longboard. I have one like it! They are cruiser style boards, but they also have free-ride longboards for sliding, and other tricks. Even though you can still slide on a pintail
As someone who has ridden a longboard and taught a few people, my advice is put it on carpet, practice your footing, get comfortable with the idea of kicking, then go ride, fall, get up and ride again. It's really easy. And he probably won't do it because "Longboard" is a dirty word to assholes who think the skateboard is the one holy instrument of non vehicular mobilization. Don't longboard because you think it'll make you cool. Do it because it's fun. and bombing a hill at 40mph, sliding and shit is fun. Don't give a shit about what purist think. (Leaving this for those who follow)
mr albrecht „longboarding takes no skill“ yeah lmao ill give u a dance board and a downhill board and u have to bomb a hill do a toeside and heelside and u have to make at least a 5er combo on the dance board in under one day
I was out of skating for a long time and recently got my first longboard. I started wondering crossing of it could be done, and lo and behold, you guys are awesome
thanks, im going to try to learn this trick on my longboard! i cant do tricks so this might be my 1st and last, like you said, jumping up kerbs is all a cruiser needs.
I love all these videos with non-popsicle boards. It's been close to a year since I quit riding popsicles. I have a freestyle setup, a cruiser, and a big shaped Welcome. There's more to skating than 7.5 in popsicle decks.
Love the first 6 seconds the way he says: howy y’all so today I’m gonna teach y’all how to ollie on a longer board. 👌🏼😄 Had to concentrate a little to comprehend (not a native speaker).
+wtf kinda name is that speed wobbles are worse on tight trucks, you need RKP trucks and confidence. Some people run no upper bushing downhill. loose trucks give you control, if your going down a hill put your weight little more on your front foot and point your toes down hill a bit.
Grantflip I really don't like that everyone's insulting almost everything Braille does. I really can't understand how people how be so cynical. I never complained about anything Braille did, I always enjoyed whatever they put out because otbwas them and I just enjoyed watching them have fun shredding it. I really don't get people.
Nice video bro. You should have does this video a long time ago, don't listen to anyone saying otherwise. This is a skateboarding channel, longboard is a form of skateboarding and is better in some ways. Keep up the good work man.
Just bought my first longboard(I have a shortboard too), and you are being really helpful. I haven't been skating in like several years so I have to learn everything all over again. But anyway, thanks for the video!
O M G! Thank you so much for this video! I've been trying and trying to do an ollie properly for a while now and could never figure out why it didn't feel right - now I know what I need to do! Can't wait! :D
So I spent over an hour practising your Ollie today, keeping in mind I'm Goofy on a pin tail longboard. Just a couple of points: 1) The positive news is today I landed this a few times, out of how many failed attempts (and annoyed Cyclists)!! So thank you for this video! But I found that I landed it only when I "snapped" or "popped" the tail down as quickly as possible (but not all the way until the tail hits the ground)... 2) I noticed that the tail of your board always hits the ground first before popping up, which I never used to do. However, when I do that, my longboard either freezes at the 45 degree angle pointing upwards OR worse, it suddenly flies (or spins) forward towards the incoming jogger or cyclist! LOL Any more tips to correct this? Also, after the amount of times the tail has hit the ground, the pin tail of my longboard now has gone from a V shape curve to a horizontal flat scratch! Is this okay if I keep doing this or will it further damage the tail of my longboard?
I've got a longboard with a kick tail and I'm learning from scratch by watching tutorials then trying on carpet and then going to a paved soccer court nearby to try on a more road like surface
Could you please make a video on how to ollie on a 32" cruiser board with HUGE wheels? cUz when push the kicktail down, it basically nearly stands vertically up xD
Lmao I've seen your videos a thousand times but I clicked on this video not knowing it was you cause of the hat, until you looked up and I was just like damn, this guy again. It was a happy feeling, you keep me so fucking entertained from all corners of the web
Arron's first ollie was like mine 2 days ago... Same reaction, too :) A few more ollies later... That's definitely a world record, but the question remains: Was that an ollie?
i specifically searched for Braille long board tutorial coz this week I'll be back at skating but I'll be buying Longboard just for cruising now but... maybe i can learn to do this one hahaha
yo aaron you guys should do some exploring and street skating out in random places but i know tht it'll be hard for you cause you have a child now but just putting ideas out there
@@Max_Leighton No need for you to watch it then lol, hope you got less complainy over the last 4 years and learned not to blame the internet for your choices
they say a long board is probably the best for commuting and there are a lot of curbs out there so being able to go up and down curbs on a long board seems pretty useful
50 percent of these comments are hate comments. I actually enjoy the longboard and Walmart board videos. Although people are probably upset about the loss of skate supports.
Honestly, I love seeing any video with Aaron. He's hilarious. So quit whining, and maybe just don't watch the damn video if it doesn't have "Lance Road To Sponsorship" in the title. Not hard.
can someone tell me if i can ollie if my board has super coarse grip tape?? is candy grip tape that is like 20 grit... i also have one with a mob super corse... which one would be better for ollies??
After dieing time after time on a Walmart board, and being able to shred bowls and ramps with a flat 40 inch longboard with ease, im thinking a 34 inch longboard with a kicktail is the way to go for me, be able to hit bowls AND do tricks
i like this guy hhahahahhaha. his videos are so good looking. and entertaining. i just subscribed. I used to skate and his videos make me want to skate again lol!!! Gabe!!! hahaha.----M E N T A L
