How to ONESHOT INCURSION BOSSES in The Division 2 

Could you explain the Striker 1-shot build on Wright? From what I've seen it's 4 pieces of Striker, Gun Slinger holster, Fox's Prayer kneepads, Regulus and Lefty, All rolls to headshot damage. When the boss comes out, you build full stacks of Striker while he's immune. Future Initiative overcharges and Achilles pulse him, proc sledge then hit a marked area with Regulus. This does 401 million damage to 1-shot him in a group of 4 players. I've seen this on a Xbox speedrun (Whiteout TOS).

@@syn80 i tried to reproduce that with my group but we couldn't pass 100m something dmg to him, we managed to get a whole bar till his explosion, i guess we were missing the bee buff and the headshot attributes on striker

This strategy isn't a single shooter. I'm not super well acquainted with it, but I'm pretty sure it consists of 1 shooter to pull boss to near first damage cap, then a synchronised shot from 2 other shooters to 'one shot' him. It's an (obviously) viable strategy, but has a few more moving parts than the BLB one, with no significant benefit@@syn80

Thank u! I think the general opinion is that one shotting bosses is easy and some free pass to an incursion clear - but you’re right, imo this is much harder than just doing it normally!

​@hutchler appreciate you sharing the video honestly because me and friends have been trying to figure it out ourselves and not quite pulling the right things for the damage honestly the normal striker runs seem pretty easy and dull so will be good for us to try master the 1shots

Been playing since launch. Community has zero common sense when making builds or testing. 80 percent of the time I go look at a players build and see what they are running I laugh and shake my head. Any blue should never be used in any part of pve gameplay. That simple.

@soccerplyr8 I don't disagree. I try to give pointers, I'd say 75% are open to suggestions. I've been able to get 4 or 5 groups through the Incursion that had never had a clear before. There was another group I tried to shepherd, but the builds were just so bad we didn't have enough DPS for Lovebirds so I had to send them out to farm for better pieces.

@@reginaldhansbrough8726 Yeah i see these kids with strikers who are just bad players. I start to notice the dps is bad and ask them what their stacks are at when shooting the boss. They ask what are stacks. Strikers is a dogshit build without at least half stacks minimum. I remember when dark hours dropped and kids where trying to tell me they had dps builds with 11%-12% rolls on all 6 pieces. For such a simplified gear system the community is clueless as they come honestly.

@@soccerplyr8 I've had to coach a bunch of my flock on how they should always throw few random shots at your nearest boss outside a dps phase to keep your stacks topped up. The worst is when I see a strikers build rolled to all blue cores. That said, pre-Dark Hours I was the same, so I try to be patient and offer tips to those willing to learn.

First 2 rooms are typically strikers - but not for one shotting. If you mean the duo, I ran a strange hybrid strikers build in that 🙂

You can stack off ads in Lovebirds and wipe until youre full, or you can stack between tanker and Wright and hardswap after you one-shot Wright

You have to complete the first area and open the door, then one person goes to the start of the mission and counts down from 5 and resets the mission on 1 the person at the checkpoint will travel on 4 and if everything goes right they'll spawn behind the turrets. Only useful in speedruns

I intentionally omitted this because it kinda just depends on how you want to set your speedrun up, and I imagine the vast majority will just want to see a oneshot vs put together an entire speedrun. The way ronon and co do it is wright shooter gets stacks at tanker, and other 2 get stacks at wright - but that obviously increases difficulty. For the purpose of the video, I got stacks from wright encounter, wipe, etc

possibly from the adds in previous section. or you can open the bosses gate to stack your BLB, then wipe to restart at boss section gate when you are stacked.

It's a project after completing the Iron Horse raid that also requires more completions of the Iron Horse raid.

That's true, but non-chem options significantly reduce mobility, which kinda goes against the point of speed running

It was designed to behave like this with the Busy little bee. You build your stacks then switch to another gun. If this was not intended then the stacks would instantly disappear when changing to another gun. Since the BLB and Regulus are both pistols they found a way to hold the stacks using a Chem Launcher so they could take advantage of the stack on the Regulus. "Each shot to a different target give 1 stack - up to 10 max, with each stack giving 20% Weapon Damage Increase. Stacks will activate once the weapon is switched and will last for 10 seconds. Changing weapon again during this timer will cancel the buff." You aren't supposed to lose your stacks instantly just because you change weapon.

Appreciate an actually well written/thought through challenge for once! I would argue that it's unintended that it applies to a weapon in the same slot, but it's not quite as some people describe with 'double exo talent'. The busy bees talent ONLY applies to other weapons - so switching busy bee to primary/secondary is also essentially stacking one weapons talent and transferring it to another. Reg is only used here because it has the highest base damage; you aren't utilising the talent. That said, us speedrunners are as keen for this to get fixed as anyone else. It's an absolute ballache stacking this weapon and takes the fun out of it - but unfortunately, it has to be done if you want to even come close to posting competitive times.

@@syn80 Switching, not unequipping. There's a difference. Intended behavior is that stacks will/should stay as long as you switch to another weapon, again not unequip it. Yet presently in the game, stacks stay even if you unequip it. I'm well aware how the talent works. :)
