I'm having trouble getting the steps in this video to work for me. So with select layer method, you would draw your line art on it's own layer and then use lasso to select it and then color it, right? Or am I missing a step?🥲 pliiiz hellpu!
@@mccama19 okay so basically you just put line art on one layer and then use the bucket tool around your line art, then go back to the layers and select “invert layer” and boom! sorry if this is confusing 💗
O meu aparece diferente do teu. O meu aparece "deslize aqui para mover a camada" saberia oque eu devo fazer? Eu realmente quero saber... quem poder me ajudar ficaria muito feliz
My Ibis paint tools are not laid out like this and these steps are not possible. Is there a step missing? Tapping outside of my line art drawing with magic wand does nothing. The next step seems to be going to the bucket fill tool and selecting invert? My bucket fill tool doesn't have any invert feature. The only "invert" tool I have is under the layer tab and all it does is make my line art disappear. There has to be something I'm missing, right?
You will only be able to color on that one layer, compared to having access to multiple layers :)) But if you prefer only working in one layer then this method is good too
An easier way to do this, you can close the gap(s) if you have any or one, make a new layer on top and turn on clipping (on the new layer). That way, you wont have to worry about erasing the overlapping parts on your coloring layer! (Extra tip: try selecting everything except for the lineart, turn off the clipping and erase everything.) Thank me later :)
Easier way: Make blank layer under the drawing, and make background a diff color than white. Make sure the entire drawing is white, in the layer, and remove the background color using the bucket eraser feature, then activate Alpha lock.
Suggestion! You can alsobopen layers and click the three dots and click "select opacity" of the current layer! Then whatever layer you open youll only affect the selected area. If the selected area was a little transparent, even that'll carry over.
No tofuboy!! we need video on blending modes and how we can use it under different condition like face at night, light coming from back and front of different colour, etc.. We need some pro tip and we are expected from you Please don't hurt our feelinga
You can also color the outlines: Make a new layer above your lineart. Clip it. Make sure you have the lasso on. Color your outlines carefully. This worked for me!!!
when i try to fill it in with the grey colour, it doesnt show up. but when i put it over the line art, THE LINE ART DOESNT SHOW. someone help. i think it’s because the picture isn’t transparent but i don’t know how to make it transparent 😭
Or i use a layer under my sketch and use the black checker and i use white only inside my lineart then when im done i use alpha lock then draw anything i need
If your really dumb and cant do this, just click the liquify tool in special category, well click the black circle at the bottom then puck the lasso tool, YAYYY YOU DON'T HAVE TO COLOR WITH A BRUSHHH❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
And here I was, individually magic wandifying each strand of hair and all le buttons and details WHY DOES 8NVERTING THE SELECTION MAKE SO MUCH SENSE NOW I'm in pain
Nobody LITERALLY NOBODY Use selection layer and fill in the area that you want to color in, then go back to the layer you will color and the area is already selected 😂
