Well, my fingers are bleeding at this point - I've been trying to open this god damn bottle, but I just can't get the hang of this...

First try..POP! thank you for teaching me a skill i thought i was just never meant to learn.

The great thing about this is that it actually makes less noise then opening a bottle with a regular bottle opener. Great for us closet alcoholics :-D

It’s funny how some people watch this once and get the hang of it, took me 3-4 years to be able to open a bottle and I still have to use a lot of strength to do so

Woooooo, success. I found the trick is to do it fast, like popping the top... first few tries I was applying gradual pressure which is no good, you'll just fuck up your lighter.

crap i tested this and broke the bottles top off... the lid did not come off but the glass broke and i had to throw away my drink because it could be glass residue in it :(

Another way, use your largest row of knuckles with the lighter and you'll have better leverage without even using your fingers. You'll pop the top every time :)
