No if your door handle is not broken, most washing machines require up to 2 mins for the door to release open once the cycle has finished. If not, your electromagnetic lock shoud be replaced.

How come that you.speak Serb/Croat lnge? Well I am from western Balkans too...Made some foolish thing in my bathroom! I turned my W72y2 Gorenje wsh. machine gently upside side..Of course I closed the door but as heavy as it's I slipped it but no damage on temperature rglts knob.. But handle door pressed to the carpet and when I saw this geniuos tip with shoelaces on your clip..I managed to.open it despite the whole lock with extended tip that fits in the electromagnetic lock inside crashed inside..You.know plastic on 2 screws that hard steel spring mechanism being operated by the very plastic door handle....I So inner door remained intact...Outer door plastic with spring and tip that goes through the hole of electromagnetic lock crashed in small plastic pieces.....I remove 11screws of both parts of door..Take out the massive glass...Had to buy the both door parts as one unity and having done it ..Fix it on 2 steel holders on left. This type of Gorenje washing machine is technical failure anyway! Spin at the end never-ending and ..lousy taking-in enough water to properly soak in the clothes due to miserable hydrostats on right side beneath the machine top cover! A technical failure cos Gorenje was the best brand in the past in the frm SFRY! I had some model back in 1990y. PS A O60 # Still working today's ! 4,5kg max capacity but soaking up and down the clothes properly and 90mins maximum time on 90°C! Cheers! I found this clip by chance! Lucky as I am to fix it without any help from rip-off experts !!!

No, if it is not broken. Very often your electromagnetic lock is the reason for stucking and should be replaced. Tap it gently with your fist when is stucked to release the lock and open it with the handle. That is also option to open.

That is easiest way, magnetic lock does not release, tap it gantly with your fist Be sure that your string is on the right place and pull it back, part of the door lock should not resist very tough it is with spiral mechanism
