Inaugural run of Jim's new 211 Liberator with 460 Cobra Big Block on Lake Erie.
The motor is the original Ford king cobra, an eight-cylinder setup that puts out between 200 and 245 horsepower at 3,800 RPMs. The torque level is around 390 lbs. per square foot at 2,000 RPMs. The specific horsepower is estimated based on the OMC drive system the engine is matched with.
The thru-hull exhaust sounds nice and throaty as you will see, and has that typical 'Big Block' echo as we pull out of Sturgeon Point Marina in Angola, New York about 30 minutes south of Buffalo.
