It fucking works thanks a lot !!! And to people that don’t have the yellow thing to pull, plug the battery to a charger and then you can open the trunk
The video shows you open the car from outside door handle both times. 1 the alarm dissables button 2 no alarm so the button works. I see no difference in the two actions? Did you unlock AND open the door from the inside door handle?
@@SexyWaffleTaco Doesn't. The video is titled "How to open your trunk dead battery....." If the battery is dead and the key is outside the vehicle, you can use the key to open the trunk.
This is a lot of needless effort. Simply feel above the license plate under the boot button. There is a keyhole there (not sure why the manuals do not reveal this unless I may have missed it). Insert and turn the key(unless you also locked the key in the trunk) and the boot opens. No power needed.
I'm sorry dude, but no way I'm gonna go thru all that to unlock my trunk...camera view was really hard to see so I'm confused anyway as to how and what you disconnected besides..taking out the back seat. No . A hard no...I'll just get a spare key fob
LOL! If the battery is dead, your spare key fob will not work on a Jaguar! The battery is in the TRUNK and the trunk won't open unless you have power. So if the power goes out, you can't use the fob. The problem with his solution is there are other ways to open the Jaguar instead of removing the seats. I've had AAA do this because they couldn't get to my trunk battery and, I've done it to. Then I learned the right way and never had to do this craziness again.
