As a woman I was very good at getting my route down and getting(stabbing) the cans but cleaning behind the blade I could not do on a daily basis it was very hard for me but I love driving frontload and yes I have dropped A can in the hopper I remember the time of day the street and everything that I did it and I dumped behind the blade twice So I stick to residential and I’m good🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Awesome video
Just saw this video, and I have to say when you went to the joystick, the up and down was perfectly fine, however the tilt was my issue, I’m used to working with John Deere farm equipment, and to tilt away you push away from you, and to tilt up (toward you) you pull the joystick to the left (or towards you) But I love the video, it’s one I found at night!! I just wanted to say that while I’m decent at operating many types of machinery the joystick would have defiantly messed me up on the tilting toward and away. Great video!!!!
Sometimes they have a switch on heavy equipment.. the rubbish trucks just depends on the patent you can either switch it from a John Deere control to a Cat control on an excavator on some of them I don't know anymore how they do it now but the worst thing was operating John Deere controls and then switching over to something that's Cat.. basically you just cross your arms
Crazy how I came across yo channel I immediately hit the sub we both dre n I’m trynna work with the garage trucks n what not Goodlooking out for this video
Nice video friend I work for waste connection of Tennessee I drive the same kind of truck at night I two joy stick controls in my truck it is much better that way .
What i noticed was youbhave the same dash lights i have on. Engine light/electrical malfunction light/ABS light. 😡 I’ve been yelling for three weeks about them they shut them off and they come back on they say there’s no code
60/90 stops a day, some stops may count as 1 stop but have 15 cans at one stop. Like apartment complex. So number of cans could be more than actual stops.
@@mikeboyd9313 that's where I started at gfl great company. Watch for power lines always be sure get out and look not just look out your window. Watch for people whipping in behind you at businesses it happens so fast that's why I like to have a good back up monitor and start very early. Goodluck it's awesome after you finally get the hang of it.
It’s all in the joy stick, you can raise the rpm’s on the truck while lifting the can and it’ll bang the can harder. How about you hit the subscribe button and I’ll make a video showing you.
I start at 2am ( that’s different depending on the area your in) and hrs are different depending on your rt and day of the week but generally 10-12 hr days
I can’t really answer this question it’s lots of different factors that come into play like your area, division, experience, yardage on the route there’s not a set rate everyone is different but front end “should” have you above $23 a hour!
I’ve never seen so much B. S. We just had a P. T. O. Switch and 5 levers to operate the hydraulic system. The Maxon square body everything was manual nothing was auto not even the back doors I wonder if this driver ever manually opened rear doors on a front loader with 12 tons against the rear doors.
