@@Capykiller mine is also stuck, wont release, neither Brink or towbar company interested in helping, spent extra so i could take it off now stuck with permanent towbar
Thanks for your comment - the towbar is secured when you here the "click" sound after pulling up the towbar, and it should then not move. The key is inserted and turned anti-clockwise to prevent removal or theft of the towbar whilst installed.
@@TheJC_DK I have a towbar like this and no matter in which way you turn the key, the towbar doesn't locks meaning anyone can remove it. Does the lock have a problem? Is this a common problem or am I the only one experiencing this?
@@dand.6699 Just got one installed on my golf 7, i have the exact same problem and it feels like the towbar isn't secured in the fitting because of it's shaking
@@benjaminiversen1600 mine doesn't shake. I just can't lock it with the key so now after I use it I immediately remove it because someone might take it.
