Okay here's my opinion on this video yes do the first part it overclocks your cpu but i wouldnt recommend the 2nd thing he showes and use quick cpu as he showes yes it works great. (overclocking makes your pc run faster at this time but in few years it will be worse, so in other words its like imagine you runing at the maximum speed you can for a very long time you get tired right? yes so its the same thing as a human kind of.) Ok but let's say ur CPU lasts 10 years, pretty big time span yes? If you overclock ur CPU you cut off 2 years, so it will last 8 years but better performance. I think you're still going to upgrade your PC in like 5 years? I think its worth it. (Note, haven't even tried this, but it's just my opinion).

To save the effort: 1. msconfig step is unnecessary. Windows already enables all cores and threads on your cpu automatically. 2. data collector set is just for statistics. Doesn't do anything else. The only part you should worry about is the QuickCPU step, which can actually make a difference (though only very small)

@Nombel No it doesn't. Auto already puts the setting at whatever the maximum amount of cores and threads is. QuickCPU is the only part that works (though its effect will vary and does use more power) but it certainly won't affect your cpu's lifespan at all. The first 2 steps we're actually taken from one of ThioJoes videos, which was a troll video.

First step is ok, fast boot. (its same if put it on fast boot in vin settings or in bios). QuickCpu or ParkControl works too but secondly it is not active till i dont manualy started in performance monitor (after every start of my computer) I don't even understand you just need viewership.

@@diegomontalti9436 A little explanation on what this does that may cause issues: Doing this locks your CPU at it's max clock speed. This may gain you marginal performance, but it is not good for the CPU to run at it's turbo boost at all times. In effect, this tricks the CPU into running as if it is under a heavy load at all times; this is not always necessary. When you force the cpu to turbo boost at all times it will draw considerably more power than it would otherwise draw. This increased amount of power drawn causes the cpu to produce way more heat than normal, which the cooling device in many PCs is simply not able to handle. When the CPU cooler is unable to handle this heat load and the CPU reaches a set temperature (95-105°c), the cpu dramatically reduces it's clock speed to prevent damage. TL;DR: The CPU does not need to boost to max speed at all times because of heat/thermal throttling and wasted electricity What is turbo boost? Turbo boost is a heightened clock speed that your cpu shifts to when it needs more power for tasks. Turbo boost is designed to run for a short time and only when needed, however, and is not intended to be the CPU's permanent clock speed mode.
