Would you like any flavor syrup or whipped cream on that?" I answered: "No, thank you. Just plain is perfect." He keeps smiling and continues "Got it, one plain medium latte. And would you like anything else?" Because I have to work the whole morning, I decide to pick one more drink: "Yes, I'll also have a small black tea, please." The shopkeeper said: "Excellent choice. Would you like any milk or sugar with your tea?" I reply: "No, thank you. Just the tea is fine." The shopkeeper asks more: "Sure thing, one small black tea, no milk or sugar. Your order will be ready shortly. Anything else?" I find two drinks in the morning is enough, I finish the order: "That's all for now, thank you." A sense of gratitude filled my heart. Gratitude for the simple pleasure of a warm cup of coffee on a chilly morning, and gratitude for the tranquil oasis that the café provided amidst the chaos of daily life.
