Thanks for uploading this. My mother has downsized her home, and while moving her, we came across so many family photos and documents. I have scanned most onto my laptop but only knew how to drag and drop each individual photo. This will speed up the process considerably. Very well presented video in laymans language without the assumption that you are an expert in computing
In Windows 10 there was a simple "move to" option that I used all the time but now in Windows 11 "move to" has been replaced with "cut and paste" which seems a bit more counterintuitive. With the "cut and paste" option I feel like I will accidentally delete my pics. I wish companies would just leave everything alone. 🙄
I subscribe to Find My Past and was really enjoying using the website and finding out about my family past. Then just after the start of 24, they changed the layout, and it is now definitely more challenging to use the website. When I print off anything thing now it is not comparable to previous printed documents and seems to use more ink.

I am sorry I am not sure what you are referring to as far as I know I did not refer to this being new, I am simply just passing on my knowledge to people that haven't worked with folders before or may have forgotten.
Yes I certainly do. I launched a video yesterday which tells you exactly how to do. This. Here is the link to my video. How To Transfer Pictures and Video To Your Computer From ANY Device - Phone, Camera, Tablet March 23 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hvlOPacFEKA.html Please make sure you hit that subscribe button on my channel to find out about all my latest videos.
You may have setup your computer to auto import photos from your device to Photos, go into settings and search for autoplay and check the settings are not set to import photos and videos.
The hundreds of photos I have stored in separate folders should not be appearing separately and unsorted as thumbnails in Pictures, but they are. ALL of them! They're still in their folders. But they also appear in the general mix as duplicates. It makes it impossible to browse through the way fewer random photos I've kept out of folders. Do you know, is there a fix for this?
