Good morning Amy. If you would, please just pray for strength and comfort for my family since we lost my dad. Also please pray for my mom. Just found out she has pneumonia. So nice to meet your husband. Im sure you already know, you’re blessed to have a wonderful family. I lost my solemate 6 years ago, 4 and 1/2 years before our 50 wedding Anniversary. We got married on April Fools Day, 1966. Lol. Right now, I desperately need prayers for my son, who is going through tough times, both with his work, health, and personal life. He’s living with me now. Im afraid 2022 will be extremely difficult. I just pray for strength, faith, and patience. I look forward to your videos, sweet Amy. Thank you for caring. 🙏

Hi Sweet Amy - This video was just what I needed today. I was just laying here thinking about the best way to tackle this Christmas take down. Normally, I take my Christmas down the day after Christmas but this year I have been struggling with not feeling well. I even came down with some type of respiratory thing while my family was here. That’s better now but I have several other health issues that are hampering me. I spent the last couple of days prepping and cooking healthy food and I am hoping to get some weight loss going. Blood sugar is really high and knees hurting. I know the Lord is with me and I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I had a great time with the family and they did so much to help me. The son-in-laws even did some things for me while they were here and the girls of course were super helpful. I love those two verses you quoted. Two of my favorites. Also, loved hearing Scotts voice. He sounded so pleasant. I have continued to pray for your family. You have had a lot of trials. I am praying that you will be on the mountain top after having to walk through the valley. Rachel is coming over today to help take the trees down. She will go back to college for her last semester on 1/10. She made all A’s last semester. Her major is mass communication which people find so strange since she is extremely quiet and shy but she is an excellent writer and even got a scholarship for her writing along the way. She has no idea what to do after college but the Lord will lead. Love in Christ and Happy New Year friend.

Love the snowflakes. I just watched the video so I saved it! That is my Moms favorite passage. It’s rather ironic because we had to call 911 New Year’s Eve and she’s been in the hospital since. She gets stomach bleeds and so today after giving her three more units of blood they were finally able to go in and do the scope and cauterize the bleed. The doctor said it was like a spider vein almost so there were several places that it was bleeding into her stomach. All is good and we think she’ll get to come home tomorrow. Again thank you I always love to hear your Bible verses. God bless you and have a happy and healthy new year.

Thanks sweet Amy, for some great ideas. I took down our Christmas tree today as well. And I did the living/dining room yesterday. Tomorrow, probably, the great room and kitchen. I use all clear totes and put everything from one room in the tote (or 2!) and I make a label to say what room it's for. I also print a picture of what I did and put it in the box. It's our first Christmas in this house and I doubt I would remember what I did if I didn't do this. I'm sure I'll have a tote or 2 of 'odds and ends' when I'm done that will have to be put away that way. At least I'll have a good start for next year when the time comes! Thank you for the great organizing tips! My prayers are for my son who is in basic training for the marines. First couple of letters broke my heart cuz he wrote saying he cried himself to sleep most nights. Not what a mother want to read, but he’s better . He also has lost his faith like most of our young people which has broke my heart. He did say he went to church on base! Please pray for his continues to go back to church! My second is for my brothers, one has leukemia, one has a alcohol addiction, and one lives in a group home. Please pray for recovery for all of them. And last prayers for all of us getting through this pandemic and we all choose Christ again! Thank you!!!

You accomplished a lot in those hours. I can't believe how blah things look when Christmas decor/tree come down. I took down everything on Monday and its all packed up into our storage area. I left out some flocked trees in the tin cans and some houses with my fairy lights and I am looking for some winter decor that I can put out for a little while. I will be anxious to see your Spring decor and Easter. I try to hoe out stuff that I don't use anymore and I hope to find a few things I saw on your channel for this years Christmas.

It is new years eve day and we just took down our decor too. I wanted to have a clean slate for the new year. I am definitely still under the weather at 9 day quarantine with covid. The hanging wreaths are great, and I usually put some clear plastic bags over them. Organizing by room, especially the tree & main pieces. Also organizing the smaller items by color is useful. I have found a printed picture of the tree is helpful if you want to recreate the same ribbon patterns or something similar on a tree the next year. Thanks for the inspiration this morning! Hi Amy Happy New Year. I have just finished taking down my Christmas decorations as I like to start New Year clean and tidy. I put up decorations room by room over 3 days and take down a room at a time. It always takes me longer than I expect to clean and tidy. Loved seeing this. I streamlined how I put away for Christmas next yr too, but this time I took pics of everything that was decorated. It never fails me each year I get overwhelmed where this or that goes. Plus anything I didn't use this yr I let go b/c I hadn't used it the previous year, and I like adding newer pieces in. Enjoyed seeing your closets and how you store all your decor. Looking forward to your winter decor. I was watching some of your older videos b/c I'm in a rut w/ the same thing, but getting better at switching things up. Went shopping today but there's not really much inventory out right now. Happy New Year, my sweet friend!!! 🎉 Wow!! I wish I had those closets for storage. Although, I’d probably buy more stuff if I did 🤣. I enjoyed all your storage tips. I took down some of my decor. Hey Amy! Wow, that chom chom thing, I love! Very cool. We brought in 2 female kittens the end of November. Their 3 other brothers/sisters got taken by something. So the tree didn't go up and some other decor.😿 So, when I saw your At Home video, the things for the tree didn't get used. The things they couldn't reach got put out. We decorate more winter style for Christmas, so nothing has to bed put away yet! Yay! ❄️❄️❄️

Nice to see Scott on here and hear his voice. Sounds like he supports your decorating, which is awesome! I won’t mention any names, but some husbands think a little decor goes along way LOL I like the idea of separating layers in your boxes with cardboard, I’m going to try that tip. I just saw this video today . I was wondering where you store all of your lovely decor. I have mine in totes also but unfortunately, it has to be stored in a crawl space under the house. We have no basement in a split level home. So at age 73 I am crawling back and forth with my 20 plus totes for Christmas. I bought knee pads for this purpose. I would love a storage place in the main house but I will do it this way as long as I physically am able. My Fall and some Spring decor is on the other side of the crawl space in totes as well. As I buy. Ew decor, I do try to weed out older decor I haven’t used in at least two years. I donate it so someone else can enjoy it. I love your ideas and videos.
