Can confirm, was at Magic Kingdom last night and it started pouring out of nowhere even though the forecast said it was going to be clear for the entire evening. We had to call an audible and run over to Casey's Corner for a hot dog dinner rather than make it over to our Lightning Lane times for Space Mountain and Peter Pan lol. Took nearly an hour and a half for the rain to finally stop.

Is it better booking a hotel outside the resort? I currently have the same one you had the all star movies.

I think it's still worth visiting some of the parks either early morning or in the last hour or two before closing time, as the parks tend to empty out by then. Definitely would not recommend doing parks in the middle of the day though, that's the best time to be enjoying your resort amenities especially since most everyone else will be gone at the parks. Also would never recommend to anyone to go to the parks every single day

When one has to make reservations up to 6 months in advance for not just the park but the restaurants, and wind up paying mega bucks for fast passes, food, parking, hotels, etc. there is NO EXCUSE for having an AWFUL day! This is why Disney is doomed. The magic is gone. It is no longer "The Happiest Place On Earth".

@@Bur6212 uh oh. Do you think you can reschedule the trip? I have been checking the flights for end of February beginning of March and they are super cheap. There are a lot of offsite hotels like Hilton that have great deals and free shuttle as well.

Oh gosh, I’m sorry to hear that but thank you for the advice so others can avoid their service.

So, definitely hit Hollywood on Friday-Sunday if you HAVE TO. Even on weekdays the big rides get sold out on lightning lanes (Slinky and Rise will have all spots gone by ten at the latest, especially on weekends). Kids meals have huge portions so order those if they have a kid version of the adult entree you want. Definitely do not go on Saturday. All of the rides usually have hour or close to hour-long rides even on weekdays, so don’t spend a ton of time dining or shopping. Even if you hate spending money on genie and individual lightning lanes, Hollywood Studios is a miserable experience without it. It’s a shame about park hopper because Animal Kingdom doesn’t have that many rides, and the standby for Flight of Passage will take up a ton of your time. Maybe try this park on Saturday and hit FOP near park-close. If the safaris interest you, they close earlier than the rest of the park, so hit it near the beginning. Expedition Everest’s line bounces throughout the day. Try to hit it at fifteen or twenty rather than thirty or above. Epcot on Sunday (or Friday) is best. Make sure you have your app and tickets ready to snag the rides you want. Remy will have long lines and its lightning lanes will probably be gone before ten am. Test track and frozen have high demand, too. You can’t ride Guardians without paid and or virtual passes. I hope you have a great trip!

That’s likely to be the beginning of Flower and Garden festival so Epcot will be super busy and locals/influencers out in full force. Just be prepared for that.

Points have a "bank by date" so as long as do that in time, you can use those points the following year. You can also borrow your points from the next year.

In my opinion if you don’t go a lot? Go ahead. If you are an annual pass holder or you can go a lot? No. I live in fl and go once a year with my family. It’s worth it to us since we don’t go as much as we did before Covid. Def genie for MK at the very least if u had to pick one.
