Rock climbing actually got rid of my fear of heights and they are right it’s the fear of falling but when you start small and start easy and get the feel for it you start to focus less of the fear and more of what you are doing. After that the fear of heights just goes away eventually.
Kudos for the video content! Sorry for chiming in, I would love your thoughts. Have you tried - Fiyilliam Uncomplicated Formula (Have a quick look on google can't remember the place now)? It is a good one of a kind product for stopping your fear of driving minus the headache. Ive heard some great things about it and my mate finally got cool success with it.
The best thing that I can say is that it is not about overcoming your fear of heights because you may never be able to over come it. What you need to do is focus on not letting the fear control you and learn to control the fear.
The only fear I've had my entire life phobia wise is Acrophobia. I'm 47 now and have tried everything I can think of to tackle it from standing on top of fire trucks for long periods of time to attempting climbing things like power line towers (that didn't happen...too phobic, couldn't do it) and nothing has worked. I've always been very physically strong and balanced so those things don't have anything to do with it at least for me. I'd really like to get rid of this phobia.
Start climbing push yourself to go to the top. I remember the first time i went up this 14m wall my long was twitching at the top. Then after that climb i just got over it and i trusted my body and self
I have done ziplining before, but I wouldn't stand close to an edge. I remember my legs were shaking when I did. When I'm climbing indoors, I know I'll fall down on the pad but it still freaks me out a bit
My brother and I went ziplining. He was so scared he couldn't even start the first practice run that was 3 feet off the ground and didn't even have any zipping, you just walk across a wire while hooked up. I was hoping to help him by watching this video, but it only suggested rock climbing, which he won't do.
I’m only here for some advice. I’ve always traveled through planes and climbed mountains as a kid. It’s one of those “you’ll get use to it” kind of things, you just need the willpower to start in the beginning
Isn't it bad to have another knot over your dubbel 8?? why would you do that?? Wouldn't you just tie the dubbel 8 right so you don't got so much overhang rope so you don't need to make another knot??
I hate when people talk about how they are afraid of heights but they go up. I am actually scared of heights even watching movies that are up on heights have me sweating and shaking. I cannot go up can't make myself go up no matter what. I also pass out when on rides
