I love this video because it’s different from other videos saying “you just gotta be confident!” and i’m like no shit Sherlock😂 real good stuff man, keep it up
great advice man. I really like #3... calm chill people around you. i've had several occasions, where i am planning to ride a new double black, and there will be people at or near the trailhead. I'll stop and chat and somehow let them know i'm going to do said trail... before i know it they are questioning me, my bike, telling me some story about their friend crashing etc. i can't get it out of my head.
How do you overcome fear 1) do not tell anybody-- those that are the closest to you will hold you back 2) believe in yourself and your abilities. 3) if you doubt yourself you will never reach goals you set. If your goals do not scare you to death,..there is a problem with your goals.
Hey bro - thanks for that, its very timely as I have just been building and working through this process on a drop near identical to the Incinerator but without the consequential run out , so it was great to just watch how it worked with the short out vs down ratio - in fact it may be even less distance out with the same vert, any tips, I was just worried about the right pull to stop getting pitched vs over shooting as the back tyre will still be in contact with the ground as the front is beginning the drop.
Thanks for watching! If possible I would try to add some more gap to the drop! We were unable to land at the top of the landing due to the shortness of the gap, so with a shorter gap it is unlikely you will hit the top of the landing unless the takeoff is very steep. Hope this helps!
Yeah, that was exactly my thought process. I have actually steepend up the landing to the point where it's nearly a roll. I think she's all good to go 🤙👊
