Been playing for ages but only recently started to look into overheating. Always seemed like a spooky system that'll ruin your mods and leave you stranded. Glad to see you cover it, Captain!

Overheating is a great skill to know about and how to use. I have survived a few solo gate camps by, "Crashing the gate". Basically approach the gate, activate my propulsion mod in its overheated state, and then spamming jump. Sometimes I make it sometimes I don't but every time i make it through its due to the overheat cause my ship is in bad shape when i can jump.
The bigger the ship, the bigger its surface area to radiate heat, as in space you lose heat only with radiation. To be fair, i never knew overloading stuff was a thing in Eve... The more i know the better, before i probably decide to start playing Guess i will never get a Rorq in EE... Then in EO maybe!

You and I both. I got tired of mk2.. and mk3 rather than actually fix anything original so more things actually worked as intended. But you won’t get away from AI botting even in online though. Its very much a part of this game too.
@@MarsStarcruiser the difference is botting is not openly sanctioned and integrated into the game as a ptw mechanic in EO. That’s just a huge slap in the face to anyone who is actually playing and enjoying the game.
