Also… I realised I will of course be taking my phone 📱 but I felt this was obvious, as they pretty much seem to be extensions of our arms these days 🤳 😂 Note: I realised I kept getting my last trip to Amsterdam and my recent trip to Nice, France mixed up here, when I was talking. Sorry for any confusion relating to the bags I took on each trip and also the number of days versus nights I stayed there. 😊
This inspired me!! I packed everything for a three day trip to a formal wedding in my 13 L osprey daylite bag. We were going on small planes with short layovers and was so happy we didn't have to gate check bags, also just made the weekend nice with less
My husband and I travel quite light. However, we make the same mistake pretty much every time, by packing more than what we need. I take a few options to change but end up wearing the same things 😂
Exactly 😂 after doing that also myself several times, I thought I’m determined to not do that again 😂 It really does help you enjoy your trip more. To not to have to cart things around 😊
I like to pack merino wool t-shirts. If I air them out at night, I can usually get a week's wear out of each (assuming I don't spill food down the front of myself). They also pack down to almost nothing. I usually wear one and bring one. That way I have a spare while I wash the other one after several days wear (or after the aforementioned food incident).
We haven’t traveled since before the pandemic, but we are hoping to go on a little weekend trip sometime in the next month or two. I think if I try to limit my packing to 12ish items, I would take the following: 2 pairs underwear, a pair of socks, a pair of leggings, 2 tops, toothbrush, toothpaste, a book, a sketchbook and pen, and soap. I take some medications daily that I would need to bring as well.
Fab video, thank you. It always amazes me how much people pack too. I love your new backpack ❤, do you know it's brand as it's super versatile with the straps. Have an amazing time in Amsterdam xxx
Very inspirational video, I love this! I was wondering with this small number of items on slightly longer trips too, if it might be fun to try reversible pieces (jeans, jacket, tee...) in different coordinating colors/patterns on each side to mix around each day(?)
Not sure if this comment is for me or people watching the video in general? I only packed 4 toiletries that were all between 10ml and 50ml so very small. So if the packaging itself is small enough I would rather use that than buy something specific. Perhaps if people have large products/ toiletries though - they could repurpose smaller packaging for their travels 😊
I mentioned it was only for 2 days. I packed a pouch that contains my underwear. When I say underwear I mean both my bottom half underwear and top half ‘bra’. I said I was travelling in my pants ie: jeans. I don’t wear pjs. I also included a list on screen that showed what I packed and it said underwear x2. Perhaps you missed the part where I held the underwear pouch up and then packed it 🫣🤭😊
