Hi everyone and welcome back to my channel for another acrylic painting tutorial. In this video im showing you step-by-step how to paint a weeping willow tree over a pond with pink flowers in the spring. Hope you enjoy learning how to paint this! You can follow along, using these colours and brushes listed below, or any ones that you choose!
Titanium white
Light olive green
Neon rose, /or magenta
Light blue violet
Sap green
Dioxazine, purple
Filbert brush
Liner brush
Flat brush
Round brush
Mop, brush

Joni, you gave this tree so much character! It looks like, you could just reach out and touch it. Weeping Willow trees are my absolute favorite kind, kinda make me wanna take the world's biggest comb and just comb through the leafs. Lol❤

I would love if you could share some ways to get a nice bright green besides your light olive green, I can’t find the color in stores and haven’t found anything similar.

Here’s my colour recipe for light olive green: primary yellow or any cool yellow mixed with a little black The light olive green I use is by Liquitex Basics and sold in most art stores as well as online 😊

I love weeping Willow trees when I was a kid. My grandma had one and we used to swing on the branches. I was 10 in 1981 and. I remember when my grandma had to have the. Tree taken down. I was so devastated I absolutely love this Painting it's gorgeous.

@Jami Barnett it was dying sadly. It was there when she moved in 1952 and who knows how long it was there before and the roots ran under the house so unfortunately it had to come down
