How to Paint a Aluminum Bike Frame with Spray Paint. 

You surely need to plug/tape off the BB, head tube, seat tube, bottle cage mounts etc to stop paint getting into the threads and any press fit openings for cups etc? I have an old (mid 2000's) GT Aggressor I've turned into a brilliant "gravel" bike but the paintwork is pretty shabby so might give it a freshen up....

Good ideas about spraying all the hard to reach bits first, and the using a torch to spot any under painted areas

If you a coat of clear coat paint it will protect your paint very well

i did the same things but my paint scrapes off easily and i also put clear gloss. at the end but all of the coats seem to peel easily.
