HOW TO paint a CANVAS BACKDROP using nothing but CHALKBOARD paint

Totally doing this! I bought a light boom stand with clips to hold reflectors and it can hold a drop cloth. So simple and economical.

I really liked both the idea and they way you presented it. I'm now off to find the Brazilian equivalents for each material...

I always wanted to do this, now that I’m getting ready for my studio, I’m going to make one,love the idea of the chalkboard paint.

Great idea with the drop cloth. I'll probably use a more rubberized type of paint for bending to transport it plus it would give thicker edge lines for texture. But fantastic idea using drop cloth!

painters drop cloth? brilliant! except for I'll be painting a backdrop that will be part of a big, BIG painting. Man I'm stoked I happened across your excellent little video here, much better than the king-size bed sheets I was going to ruin! haha. Chalk board paint may be highly allergic to some people. Do not touch your face or skin. Wear protective gear.
