How to paint a Celestar Ballista

In this quick video I'll be showing you a quick and easy method of painting up the Stormcast Eternals' Celestar Ballista to get it looking great for the tabletop. It's a superb miniature with plenty of details that set it off, but you only need a really limited palette to paint it up.

I've just been given a huge number of old Ral Partha Dark Elf ballistas from a friend who's dropping out of the gaming/modelling hobby, so this is a perfect time for your tutorial to arrive, as I was wondering how to go about painting them different to the dark purple scheme on the box art. Wonderful work, and worth the watch.

any suggestion on how to do a non gold stormcast colour scheme, maybe a video. 50 issues through the mortal realms magazine and still can't choose. looking at hallowed knights colour or something else on the silver/brushed steel type, more like medieval armour colours. any suggestions by you or other subs would be helpful. thanks

Cheers Jason, very much appreciated! :) I've actually got too many Liberators thanks to Mortal Realms, so going to start expanding the Stormcast colours and include some different types. There should be some coming in the near future! :)
