Come paint with us, in REAL TIME! We are going to paint this beautiful barefoot woman, carrying a suitcase, in a lavender field, using acrylic paint. (You could also do an oil painting with this.) What's even better? We are joined by the photographer of this stunning photo, Eric Pearce.
FOLLOW THIS LINK, to download the LESSON REFERENCE KIT for this photo: www.etsy.com/listing/29431553...
LESSON REFERENCE KIT INCLUDES:
-Original Photo of the Girl in the Lavender Field
-Grayscale Photo of the Girl in the Lavender Field (to aid in seeing value, intensity, and contrast)
-Simple Sketch Map of Girl in the Lavender Field (may be used to copy, transfer, or color)
-Complex Sketch Map of Girl in the Lavender Field (may be used to copy, transfer, or color)
-Color Map (overlay on photo)
-Color Mixing Recipes (for oil or acrylic paint)
I know you can't always see exactly what I'm doing, or maybe the screen you watch the tutorial on changes the color and quality of what you're seeing. Or maybe you are using different brands and colors of paint than me, so things aren't quite matching up. Perhaps, you are unable/don't want to always have the video playing, and want to paint in quiet and peace, but still want a guide. This reference kit will let you see exactly what I'm seeing. You can be sure that you are getting the same colors and proportions as me, because I will be matching my colors and sketch proportions to these reference maps.
This painting need not be limited to oil or acrylic painting. You may use it in many different mediums, such as pastels, watercolor, colored pencil, marker, etc. Have fun, and thanks for your support!
SUPPLY LIST:
·Canvas (we'll be using 11"x14")

This was really fun & informative to watch. Re: the leg problem you had - my Art Teacher once said "draw what you see, not what you think you see"; he said when we draw, our brains use info we've stored about what a thing SHOULD look like & not its true shape, so we shouldn't think of a leg etc, but think only of lines & space, shadow & light. The girl in the pic is striding, left leg almost straight, extended behind her. Our brain expects legs to have curves, but at full stride they're mostly not visible. Your purple between the thighs added curves & moved her knee which is why you were having problems, but your painting was still fabulous regardless. I had no idea you were self-taught til you said so here.

Why is your site blocked by McAphee security and why isn't the kit available. Is this false advertising?
