some people go right in immediately, but I have had trouble with paint peeling off in the past. i always let it cure now and have had no issues since following that practice. hope it works out for you :) TFW

yes that is what we did in our bedroom with the striped wall, but this time took a short cut. won't do that again. TFW

it depends on the colors you are wanting to put as the hexagon. you can get samples of the paint and see how well they will cover over the gray. if they are dark enough, two coats should cover over a lighter gray. if not, you could always go back after your remove the tape and hand paint in the lines between the hexagons with the gray. it would take some work, but, will paint pens to help you line off the edges, you could do it without too much problem. missmemssme thank you beautiful friend :) i have about 14 hours in the wall so far and probably a couple of more as i clean up the areas where the paint bled under the tape. so, all in all it is a good two full day project.

Thank you. I do not have the color swatches unfortunately. But I did the paint at Lowe’s so you might be able to find some teals that are similar in their searches. TFW
