Being watching you since you started, i don't think some people understand that what model your painting isn't really relevant, its the technique that is important to note, thank you so much for teaching me over the last 4 years.
I agree with Alexandra. Those old GW paints still paint last time I checked and were still a great range that I use to this day. Ambition and artistic expression come from within. Don't be bummed. Shake it off and get to painting.
I love the paint scheme and another great video. His arrows at first when you were blocking out colours looked like a massive matchstick, i thought he might of been a pyro. Lol

Grey is always a solid way to prime coat your models. Easy to paint up to a lighter color, and easier to paint down to a darker scheme. But yes. It does depend. If you want the colors on your model to be all the brighter try using a lighter undercoat of primer and vice versa.
hi alexandra, itsbeen a while , i lost heart in painting after all the new paints came in as i only just bought GW paints :( . im just starting to look at my collection again thanks for the tutorial !! i think i will get the bug for painting again!!! i hope !!!

I tried making a purple cloak and clothing with tin blitz armor, its not that good in comparison to yours but thank you for inspiring me to try other color schemes :)

Hello Girlpainter ... First of all many many thanks for all your video's, I just love when I open my inmail and see that there is a new video ready for me ... ;-) Now for my question, you can make a video where you paint a woodelf/ highelf so it becomes a "desert" Elf ? I simple just not know what color to juse, it just not look right ... ;-( So can you help me out on this one, i hope you can ... :-) Keep up the good work ...
+Mariusz Kusak I have this crazy idea of elves with black armor, black bows, black arrow shafts, black boots, dark grey underlying mail, arrow quiver and cloth waistband, and finally, white cloth capes and blood red arrow feathers. Maybe some black iconography marking details on the edges of the capes. And a reverse theme: white armor, white bows, white arrow shafts, white boots, bright grey underlying mail, arrow quiver and cloth waistband, and black capes, blood red arrow feathers again(maybe orange or yellow instead) and white cape markings. :) Sounds neat to me.
I would enjoy these vids so much more without that constant '' HMMMMMRRRRR ''. Really puts me off, which is a shame. I love these tutorials but that constant noise is a slap to my hears.
