Always love your work Dennis , you have put in your time. That frame is to die for. Right down my alley. I live in Northern Mn, and everyone hates my frames. It's a lumberjack, rustic cabin kind of area.

dear mr Sheehan these are nice tone studies for me..however i think that something is missing and that something is certainly the color variety ,it s easy to choose two basic tones and play with them..however mother nature is always teaching us always to search -the other color - as a great master once have said..
everyone has their own way of panting ,so what,s wrong with using a frame, ,the art work fits in the frame at the end anyway thats just his way ,of doing things looks all right to me .
Green & red…..he also said he tinted that combination with a little black & white for the back ground. He mentions the exact name of each, green & red, if that’s important to u. I cant remember exactly which he said, but its in the video at least twice. Actually, I just found the digital transcript, its at 3:52. The exact color names. 8 years later may not b helpful lol but maybe it will help a more recent viewer. ✌🏻
David Goodman Oh, come on guys. how many 'artists' have you ever heard of would paint a picture in a frame? it can be nothing more than a gimmick... "and for my next trick!!!!!" (brum roll) Art is what ever you want it to be, no problem. Art is alive in every way!... But only if you experience it yourself. I object to someone who claims to be the 'artist' teaching others how to be 'artist'. It is the blind leading the blind. Just go out and look at the world. Stop copying a chap, who I am sure is a genuinely lovely man, but he is just an artistic technician. He move paint about. Not an artist. Please go and live and learn from your own experience!
