Sprayway another Killer!! Love your Work. But I know of a Legendary Ol' School that needs your touch and I think y'all would break the RU-vid algorithm!! '78 Chevy Boi's Penny!! I've been a fan of both of yours for awhile and just had a thought I figured alot of us fans would love to see! Just a thought out loud. Have a great and blessed day!
Are you kidding? If there was any "attention to detail " he wouldn't have to deal with severe orange peel or have to spend days on end correcting the hack paint work.
You knocked that one out of the park. It goes to show you that you don't need a $250,000 spray booth to turn out a car show finish. That is one of my favorite colors. Keep the videos coming.
Anyone notice that spray throws down a killer paint job . Better than most people could ever do. And yet he stays humble to his work and shows you his little mistakes. As always thanks for the content teacher .
@@SprayWayCustoms always enjoy your video and the awesome work you do. I was wondering if you could do a 1982 s-10 dashboard for me? I would be willing to pay for the job, supplies and shipping to and from. Thank your for your time and the videos you post.
I put up some of my 60,s flake on ebay if anyone wants some og flake. its listed as NOS Metal Flake. I have more than i will be able to spray so i put up the colors i have enough to sell. Keep up the great work.
This brother is unbelievable mane .....God blessed you with a double dose of talent. Keep pushing your gift making other people smile ,for those who really appreciate your work;! 💯💯💯
After 39 years of paint and restoration work, I1 still don't understand why painters start in the middle of an horizontal panel. Not only do you get sanding on the unsprayed half, by the time you finish the half you're painting, the wet edge is gone and you start from not only a dry edge, but one full of dry sand overspray. Whatever works, I guess...
Man, I learned so much watching you step by step this truck! Thank you for the commentary and explaining every single thing you were doing and why you were doing it, and also showing the products you use! I love your attention to detail and I can tell you put a lot of time and care into your prep work. I also like that you stop every so often and drop a pro-tip on us or show where you are in the process (like what step you are on, etc). I can tell you are passionate and meticulous about what you do because the end result is straight up FLAWLESS. I’m subscribing! Keep doin’ it how it GO! 🔥✨🍎💯
I appreciate the honesty and not pretending it all went perfect and the confidence and pride in your work that you’re gonna make it right. That’s what’s up
I wanna know who the 97 idiots are that gave this a thumbs down!! Fantastic job. Not a lot of people know & understand how much time & hard work goes into doing a paint job. And then you also take the time to explain everything as well. You should be proud of your work sir! Don't worry about the few mishaps with the clear. We all get in a hurry sometimes. That's why they make sandpaper. 😆 Again...fantastic job!
And on that subject to have a question. If the orange peel or imperfection or whatever is in the color coats and then you clear coat over it without fixing it how does sanding and adding more clear coats fix the problem in the color? I think I said that right. I'm just curious how sanding on the clear coat fixes Orange Peel down in the color?
Your gun handling skills (HOW you actually spray) is something I hope to be able to do. Relaxed and graceful, yet precise. This channel is new to me, so thank you.
WOW Beautiful!!! I have two questions, 1. Is the flow coat the same as just laying down the final clear coats? 2. To me I do not understand why after painting the engine bay that no work was done to clean the engine nor the frame in that area. When I did my 41 Chevy truck, I stripped the frame down with blasting then painted the chassis and powder coated everything else. But your paint job is top notch. Ron USCG RET
If people only understood the amount of work a paint job like this requires, I'm sure that you felt like your arms were going to fall off after wet sanding all of that area even if you use an orbital sander to do the flat areas it is still a ton of work, Please be sure that you stress how important it is when preping the surface that you wash thoroughly before painting, Most painters edit this stage out and it gives the illiusion that it is not important or required, Thanks for all of your great tips!
Sprayway I’m not sure if it’s my phone but sometimes the voice goes out just wondering g if I’m only one lol love your videos o latest painted a car because of your videos thanks 🙏
Ok I am 61 years old. Been doing AutoBody and Painting since age 15. What the hell is FloCoat? I know Clear Coat. But is that the new saying now calling it a FloCoat? But looks good Brotha. Oh I learned something from you. When I wet sand clear coat. I usually just put another layer of paint on it. Because I am scared when you wet sand clear coat. When you spray clear back over clear. I would think you would see the clear coat marks thru the clear coat sand marks on it. Using the 600 clear. Ppl talking about 3000 or 2000 or 2500 1500 to 1200 or 1000 grit. What year is this truck Brotha?
Man I appreciate you explaining everything. I don't know shit about painting, but trying to learn because shops turn their head at my truck build. It's not an insurance job so they don't pay attention to it. I also noticed you in Alabama!! I'm in the 256/Shoals area. Truck looks damn good man.
Good job Sprayway: I got some allkandy wet wet plus, could you give me some gun settings? It says spray at 50psi. Taking my info only from you. Im trying only because of you and your videos. Keep up the good work bro. From right across the line in the Sip!!!
Try gold with gold flake as a base then candy over that on your next candy paint job it makes that candy P0P off so much better, it's just a suggestion...........regardless you did a nice job all around 🤜👍
How much would a paint job like that go for? I got a 99 4 door Tahoe I wanna get fully color matches in that candy apple red, bumpers, mirrors, windshield wiper arms, I mean everything.
Awsome job Sir...one question from a canadian praire boy...what kinda bird is cherppin in the first couple minites of the vidieo? I know its a dumb ass question but...Eh.....lol
What price is it to paint a 2005 mustang candy apple red and black cherry combination, I'm in Northwest Ga Rockmart area ? can view the vehicle at my fb page James E Dyer ...
Some paint is just unforgiving man .like you said , take your time . Overall it's still a awesome paint job bro. Whatever the imperfections are they won't see em when your cruising by at 30 mph . Lol Your bad ass bro not everyone can paint like that .
You make it look easy bro but goddamn is hard. You been teaching me a lot but my project is full of bondo and I’m just trying to do my best but I can’t find nothing similar on your channel to see how to fix it, but your videos are really helpful keep up the good work bro 🔥💯💯
My husband purchased me a Nissan Frontier 1998 that I have been fixing up myself I have had for a while but loaned it to my father now that I have it back I want to girl it up. I wanted to know what is the purpose of painting perfectly and then wet sanding again. Or could you have stopped at that point? I am scared to tackle the painting.
That paint job is dope bro. I would like for you to paint my cj5 I have the body off the frame and I've done some of the bodywork already. I live in north Carolina of 85 south so you're not far away. hit me up w your info and once I'm ready I'll drag the body to ya. peace bro!
Wuts up spray way I been following you for some years now I'm looking to have my 69 Grand Prix painted and I'm located in california (oakland) I want to know how could we make this happen so please respond when you can I think your paints are second to none thanks in advance bro!
I'm 21 years old, I've been doing car painting for 7 years, but the paint technology in my country is so poor, do you have any ideas to help me, I'm Vietnamese
Thanks for putting this out there. people have no idea what it takes to do a job like this untill thay can see the process. So when i hit them with 10K all I have to say is go look up a SprayWayCustoms videos.
I find it odd that folks call this candy apple. In the sixties when we painted candy apple we put down a mother of pearl base so the candy would show the colors through the paint so it looked like an apple skin. That old mother of pearl was a bitch to work with and very costly. Nice work mate.
You should invest in 440 express pin hole eliminator you can use the applicator they sell for it or paper towels you put it on the paper towel and smush it in the pin holes and then just wipe off you can put it on all body work you do and once you wipe it off you just wax and grease remove the area your about to prime there’s no sanding involved at all and it hardens once the primer does
I want my Chevrolet Silverado either that color or Maroon, I’m not even old enough to drive it yet but I will next year, my dad’s old truck he don’t use anymore
Iv watched almost all of your videos and i hate them all lol you make it look so easy i walk out to my old school and think i can paint that bitch! You do great work dope videos
Good job man looks really good I’m trying to paint my single cab ram candy apple red but haven’t found a good color I really dig this one is there a name for it
I wish you would of painted the wheel wells and the frame. I'm sitting here wondering why somebody would put that much time and effort to not do it completely
So quick question, you put the flake in your base? Never knew that was possible.. so 3 coats base with flake, 3 coats candy red, 3 coats clear... let it dry..... wet sand, then 3 more coats of clear?
@@SprayWayCustoms ok cool, reason being im throwing a black base, then candy pearl black cherry on top, but i wanted to throw the flake in also, just wasnt sure the best way to do it when it comes to candy.. i normally do base, then add the flake in the clear.. clear one or 2 coats of flake, then clear it 2-3 more times by itself.. but i forgot how too.. its been years since i had done a flake job.. only doing a roof down the side panels, on a regal
Another beautiful job!! Especially with your limited facility, (man that fog was getting thick!) you keep turning out excellent work! Then you have the humility to point out your mistakes!! That’s an honest man!!! Thanks for the vid, I automatically thumbs up before I even watch!!!!!
