That was fun! I 💚 willow trees! I knitted while you painted and look forward to painting the willow tree soon. BTW, I've always heard that willows grow where there is water -- by creeks and ponds, etc. Also, it is a good thing to plant them to suck up water if you have a soggy yard but away from your pipes and foundation, I should think!

Hobby bought me your two workbooks for Christmas. I’ve been watching you for years, even subscribed to the monthly boxes 2018. Loved the weekly tutorials for each project in the monthly box. This dry brush to soften reminds me of a Bob Ross technique. Fabulous!

I have a weeping birch so white bark we use cedar chips on the ground and fertilizer stick every year.

As beautiful as they are, they are an invasive weed here in many parts of Australia. They grow like thickets in our waterways, clogging the rivers and cause many issues. Loved your painting thoughts 😊😊

Loved this. Great to hear from Keenan😊. Still waiting for my book…here in UK they say March. We haven’t a willow in our garden, it would just take up too much room. We had a twisted willow that we couldn’t keep up with and someone offered to prune it and never survived.

I just got your Landscape book but not sure which colors you used & is your blue (like Pthalo blue) & your yellow (Golden tiger) is a warm yellow like Hansa yellow deep & cool red “Perm rose” as feel your illustration are more helpful as didn’t add lots of stuff in the sky to try & go around! Hope this is close to one in the book of the willow tree!

Willows love water. Do not plant near your septic or water lines or u will have an issue

Have you gone back to live paint alongs and not pre-recorded tutorials? That's fine if so, just been trying to find access to the 2024 tutorials and I'm not seeing anything.
