Love how you use simple techniques that provide good results, a lot of other mini painters are showing advanced techniques like blending, which I suck at lol. Love the style, reminds me of Goobertown Hobbies! Subbed!

Very enjoyable easy to follow tutorial that was well thought out. I subbed and will be looking at some of your other tutorials.

Good material recommendation for the varnish. I usually use Coat D'Arms varnish and was looking for something I could get in larger quantities for my cheaper models. You might be able to eliminate some of that white in the varnish by reducing with a little rubbing alcohol and brushing it on rather than spraying.

Really enjoyed this video since I've got 60 of these mantic zombies to paint myself lol. All I have for paints are citadel contrast paints so what would you suggest I use for the skin instead of the brown and green washes you used? Thanks and great video 👍.

Hey thanks! I would probably use Guilliman Flesh as a replacement for Reikland Fleshshade, then either Plaguebearer Flesh or Militarum Green as a replacement for Athonian Cammoshade, I think the Plaguebearer is a little more yellow so depends on personal preference, either way dilute those suckers down with contrast medium as they will be too strong otherwise!

Nice! What grit sandpaper do u use?\

For plastic models I don't like to use anything under 1000 grit, usually stock up on 1500

Nice tutorial! Just curious, would dabbing on gloss varnish in the gore areas make them appear wet as effective as the still water product or no?

Yeah I would expect gloss varnish would work a treat!
