Please watch the video "The Best Primer for Painting Hot Wheels" before continuing to watch this Hot Wheels painting tutorial. Because I just found the best solution to the problem of peeling paint in Hot Wheels Custom painting. Link is in the description and card in the video. Thank you friends 😉
I used to restore my Hot Wheels cars, and I always showed the result to my grandmother, she greatly appreciated what I did to them and how I restored them... she died and with her went my desire to do this again. But I think that with your video I have found a little desire and inspiration... I will try to take it up again and give life to my collection again.
I bet the community is so thankfully with you for sharing these secrets and I think that making videos like this will have a great impact because almost no one share his knowledge. if you see my comment i would like to ask you some questions: 1) Do you always use cans? 2) When would you recommend to yo use an airbrush? 3) How much time do you wait to work on the widebody? Greattings from México!
I hope so too! Thank you my friend. About your question: 1. Yes 2. When you have time and are willing to clean up the airbrush equipment. I don't have any. 3. From start to done...1 day
Wow, that's a lot of work you put into those cars.... That's why i like watching your videos 👍 all that work and the cars come out looking amazing.... Keep it up 👍👍👍
Thanks man! Really helpful. Gonna attempt this for the first time. I've heard spray painting is a job of experience. Let's see how my paintjob ends up.
Great details. Only thing I can relate to is that. It took me a couple of years to get "the eye" in natural stone fabrication. One tiny scratch or a distorted reflection. Looks like a good hobby for an old man with a young son who has a talent for art.
Nice. I would have left the front spoiler purple, faded into the white, and back into the purple on the rear like you have. Great look. The white hot hood.
Great technique, I only use can and sometimes it can be frustrating. I tend to get paint build up but I think your pulse spraying technique can really help me eliminate that as well as warming the cans. How do you keep the nozzle from getting blocked?
Thank you. Yes painting hotwheels with spray paint is very tricky. For keep nozzle clean, honestly I do nothing...hahaha. But you can flip and spray the paint 1-2 sec after doing painting.
I'm also using spray can paints for my custom waiting for airbrush set. Result can be really nice but there are limitations to what you can achieve if you want smooth results.
Great work, I was searching for a video like this to answer my question, can we spray can paint a matchbox car, I guess the answer is yes, and what great work, many thanks 🙏 for the video 🙌🏻
@@TolleGarage no thank you, you make some really good customs and I have started making my own as well thanks to inspiration from guys like you! I follow your page on Instagram!
Hey, I've been customizing for a while, and I've just started to do some bodywork, what is that white stuff called? I've seen it with a bunch of different creators, and it doesn't seem to be like the Bondo I've been doing. Thx so much!!
I am not suggesting, I am telling. For this size of painting, do a 300mm swipe LtoR and RtoL. Especially on clear coats. Clear 1swipe Matt, 2swipe Semi, 3swipe gloss. These still look good on vid.
@TolleGarage Please don't think you didn't do great. Them cars look great! I am only suggesting a modeling and panel and paint technique. I call it "Waste once, or mess up and Waste much". Great work. And I am will ask you for tips on the bodywork in the future.
No worries my friend 😊 I really appreciate you sharing your techniques here. Maybe that could be a suitable method for some viewers of this video. Because I believe there are many ways to get good results. So..Thank you for sharing.
Trimakasi. Kan ada gambar catnya di video. Di deskripsi juga ada link pembeliannya, tapi utk amazon. Kalau perlu yg shopee, kita ngobrol di email atau IG ya
Idk if you still check these comments, but I run into an issue where my plant simply applies way too thick. Is it the paint I’m using? Nozzle size or shape? Distance? Or maybe I’m just spraying too much? Did you ever run into anything like this when starting and if so what did you do to help it
Oh ...I think it's about how you push the nozzle. You can try to push it shortly, just 1 short push per area until the car cover well. Don't spray from side to side in one push.
