@@ThePaintingCoach And I also find it interesting that they use shotguns as they're main Ranged weapon instead of a lasgun but I guess it makes sense since they're breachers so they would be in close corners combat cuz ships.
AMAZING pieces! I just got into Warhammer 40K and have so far butchered a couple of Adepta Sororitas and Black Templars with my painting ( 😑) but I'm going to try to use your techniques and keep at!
I started out with the same armies as you, and my first models are well shit but after watching so painting tutorials. Now my models may not be as impressive but it's definitely way better than when I started I started Warhammer 40k near the end of 8th edition, so about I would say 2 maybe 3 years ago
I swear some of these models look like ser Hector from the canis rex knight. I didn't know these models existed. I really like them. These are GW right? Well I guess they are GW. Didnt watch far enough of the video.
Ive avoided 40k for 20+ years but sadly Kill Team reeled me in. 40k as I always suspected ISNT n00b friendly & is an utter money pit. GW dont exactly treat their customer base well either, the codexs are a rip and the new set pre-ordering is farcial with such low supply. I got my Octarius set from eBay and ive just managed to aquire a sealed Into The Dark set from my local game store by nothing short of a miracle, im elated. Ive been watching your vids for around a year (youre my go-to-guy) to assist me with painting ideas and tricks for my Judge Dredd/HeroQuest sets. Ill be following your guide for the Breachers but christ theres a few quid in paints for that mob, ive only got a few of those. One thing id like to ask, I can never keep a point on my brushes, I think Citadels are sh*te. Can you advise on any super fine, SMALL sharp tipped brushes by size and brand? I try to be so careful but they always seem to blunt superfast and get loose wirey bristles. Anyhoo, keep doing what youre doing lad, you inspire me to keep bettering myself at this. Cheers mate - yeah pre orders are all over the shop at the minute - hooefully after the release of 10th ed it will settle down! Try a Rosemary and Co series 33, size 1 to 00. It's not necessarily the brush size you need to worry about as opposed to the quality of the point Another tip is to twist your brush as you drag it out of the paint - this will put the nice point back 👍🏻
