Pink first, because pink contains a lot of white. And white covers really great, and it will help yellow to cover better over this color. Also it will bring more depth than just base with white. Usually I don't do zenithal priming, and I have only black priming. If you do this it is a shortcut to cover black. Since pink will cover much better over black, than direct goldbrown yellow. Because yellow and orange are worst colors for paint over black (also gold).
Hi, I am using Vallejo German Panzer Grey Primer with airbrush. And then zenithal highlighting. You can watch full process in this link ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2W0S52F5Cpo.html 😊
Would you be able to do voice-overs. I'm really curious of the how and why you choose the colors you do. I would find it just a little more helpful if I knew why and how you are doing certain techniques. (Like why start with pink)? Thanks.
My English is not good when I speak, also I don't have rich vocabulary. That is a reason why there is no voice-over. But I am thinking about that for the future videos, because there will come some more complicated minis than Marvel United. I know there is little problem understanding the process only watching video, especialy when it come to layering. It looks like I am using only 1 layer of certain color or mix, when actually there are 3 or 4 layers. About pink: Many RU-vidrs suggested pink as base, becuse yellow doesn't cover great over black or darker colors. On the other side white undercoat fells bland. So pink (red+white) is much better for it. Similar magenta would be perfect for undercoat of skin.
Hey, sorry for late response. I'm using Army Painter brushes, for most of the time (they are easy to find, so don't have to change to different brush when it doesn't serve me anymore). Especialy like the Basecoat size :D
Unfortunately I have MU Season1 core box already painted and not filmed. Only some miniatures from KS Exclusive Box, Guardians and maybe Infinity Gauntlet will follow
For X-Men there are Sentinels, Deadpool and 1 figure that my friend will choose from him. Maybe I will paint Apocalypse expansion. Then I will return to Season1 expansions.
Thank you :D Sentinels are a "little" bigger and 3 at same time. So they are more like a project than 4 hours painting session (as other minis). I already paint them (for 2 weeks), but slowly, and in meantime untill they are finished I still need to paint other miniatures, so I can publish 1 video a week. But definetly video will be out soon (believe in June) :D
