I never came across this method of painting darker clouds first and then the lighter blue hue. So many excellent tips here in this video. Can't wait to join the Cityscape workshop tomorrow :)

@@ArtefactoSchool It's all fun and easy to find a good reference for me, but then what details I should retain and what to skip is kind of tricky. Also, thank you so much for sharing the recorded version of the workshop. I couldn't attend live, but I watched the recording.

I have loved the content of the artists you have shown. I've learned a great deal in my watercolor journey here and purchased at least one class. That said, my only comment/ complaint is the quality of the videos. For example, I have really benefitted by Konstantin's lessons but they are dark and difficult to see. It's really a lighting issue. I really hope you guys continue with this valuable information on what is important to learn to make your watercolors come alive!

Never worked this way. Like it, tank you! Think the raw siena was the burnt umber. (Raw siena looks like yellow oker.)

What pigment is Chinese Red?

Hello! Thank you for your questions. These are permanent rose and cadmium red. Other red pigments are worth exploring, such as alizarin and carmine. It could also be Vermilion ☺️
